Popped in here after the Rocks Historical Tour. Small cafe but good food. Tried the crab linguini which was great, nice big pieces of crab that I could actually taste. My husband had one of the day's specials which was duck sausage with orange sauce....More

Monday Breakfast after weekend in the city, coffee was lovely and meals excellent. Fritters for one, Salmon Royale another, and mixed breakfast for the third and it was perfect. Great setting too with the sun rising the nearby buildings, and staff lovely. Recommend

This hit the spot. We were looking for a good place for early dinner in the Rocks area. Nothing fancy, not too overpriced. This place really hit the spot. Had exotic meat burgers (they have croc and roo plus more normal options) with chips. Everything...More

I happened upon this small eatery in a historic building looking to try some kangaroo steak and I was not disappointed! The meat was medium rare on mashed potatoes. I had a glass of Shiraz and the rocket and pear salad to go with it....More

I have spent 6 weeks in Sydney. Ambience is relaxing. Food and service were outstanding. From catch of the day to kangaroo burger or gator. Expresso Martini were delicious. Got to go and check it out at least once.

The Salmon salad with avocado, quinoa, spinach, and fresh herbs was excellent. Pear cider went well with the dish.

The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and
sailors from the old nation. As the oldest
neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone
streets host more than 100 heritage sites and
buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney,
Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi
“ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the
waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The

The rocks cafe The Rocks Cafe is one of The Rocks' favourite icons. It offers a truly European dining experience just opposite the MCA on George Street. The Cafe spans two floors and combines the best of modern Australian architecture with a traditional bohemian feel that adds genuine warmth which is echoed by the friendly staff. The Cafe is open seven days a week from 8am to late at night so you can enjoy the breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menus are updated regularly and are complimented by the daily specials where our Chief Chef exercises his flair. Just around the corner from Circular Quay it's very central to the CBD and the financial district for lunch or after work dinner with friends or colleagues. The Rocks Cafe is the perfect for an intimate meal or large corporate bookings can be hosted upstairs and made private if required. Our wine list features wine from the best Australian wine producing regions and our staff are fully trained to help you in any way
