Had dinner here and were not let down . The food and wine were excellent , both had Risotto Alla Pescatora , and it was superb. Service was very good even though the place was full to capacity. Would certainly visit again. Well done to all.

We had dinner here and found the food excellent, the wine was good and the service below average. The wait staff were quick to seat you and take your order. That was where the service slowed to a crawl. I would recommend this restaurant for food but not for its service.

The food was good and service was friendly and above average. The odd thing about the place is the Mariachi duo that appeared and played music for a short while. My guess is they were just going from place to place and entertaining the guests, but Mariachi music in an Italian restaurant in Australia is just odd. Oh, and real... More

In the heart of "The Rocks" on a sunny Saturday we found this a nice spot for lunch. The food was good. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry-just out to enjoy the day. After lunch a walk through the area with "The Rocks" market in full swing as it is every weekend makes this a vibrant... More

The wine was good, the food terrible and the service so-so. Tartare sauce in Masterfood containers, really??? It is a tourist trap, it looks great on the outside but it is not worth it. With so many restaurants to choose from in the neighbourhood, avoid this one.

Wonderful attentive service and authentic Italian cuisine abound here. We sat outside, enjoying the weather, the ambience and the food. I felt like I was in Rome only with the Opera House in the background.

The food and service were average. For the first time in my life I saw fried sardines - very strange dish. We visited it for dinner when there are two old men who performed Italian songs - were very good.

I went to Sydney and spent the summer with my uncle after graduating high school. I remember going here for dinner one night while it was raining. It felt almost magical, sitting there and having my delicious pizza with the rain pouring outside. The service was quite delayed, yet the food made it totally worth the wait!

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
