Food. Service. Atmosphere. This restaurant has it all. Four adults and 3 1/2 year old had a great experience and recommend it for all of the above. P. S. Strolling harp and guitar music was a real plus on Saturday night.

Food took 45 minutes to arrive. Pasta was "out of the bag" such as you would cook yourself from Coles. Veggies were frozen, not fresh. Veal had been boiled to death, not "lightly pan fried" as the menu suggested. Even the pizza was rubbish, dry and tasteless. Don't waste your money, absolute rip off - think it must survive from... The menu is typically Italian but the bonus for me was the gluten free option both for pizza and pasta. Admittedly $2 extra.....but when you're gluten free....you'll take that as often there's no choice. The food was well cooked and very tasty. I had a small portion and it was the perfect size for a main. I suspect the large... More

We had a wonderful meal. The thing that made it a place we will go back to is the people. The waitstaff was so fast to help and the chef put our meals out pronto. We asked a passing policeman for his recommendation on where to eat and he also said that this is the place to go. Thank you... More

We enjoyed our lunch here. The food tastes good and has good environment. However they could do with better customer service.

We had a fabulous lunch at this rustic restaurant surrounded by the historic sandstone of old Sydney. The waiters were so obliging, the food authentic Italian and very generous. We couldn't eat it all so they happily wrapped it to take away. Well worth a try.

Better off having a microwave dinner at home. Food was dry and uninteresting. Won't be back. Good job the atmosphere was ok. Won't be back.

Had dinner here and were not let down . The food and wine were excellent , both had Risotto Alla Pescatora , and it was superb. Service was very good even though the place was full to capacity. Would certainly visit again. Well done to all.

We had dinner here and found the food excellent, the wine was good and the service below average. The wait staff were quick to seat you and take your order. That was where the service slowed to a crawl. I would recommend this restaurant for food but not for its service.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
