This restaurant has all great restaurant elements. It has tasteful food, professional service and excellent view. we enjoyed every course from entree to main course to dessert. The only little flaw is the side roasted mushroom was way too salty. The wait staff cheerfully offered to have it re made, however the second one is as salty.

Went to Sydney in July and had business lunch at Manta Restaurant. We had tasting sets and we had quite a few dishes in the set which I loss count as the dishes keep coming in. The food is very fresh and of high quality and especially if you go with wine. Although it is winter in Sydney but we... More

Very enjoyable, wharf side restaurant. I highly recommend eating here. The seafood is outstanding. The atmosphere is terrific.

I have eaten here a few times, it's at the expensive end of the spectrum and overpriced. I had a very average piece of meat for $45 and now my girlfriend and I are both at home feeling sick most likely from something we ate. Regardless of the average quality of the meal. I had an issue with the service... More

I forgot to review Manta the last time we went but the second time was just as good if not better. Really enjoyed our meal, I started with a lobster slider then had the scampi risotto as a main with truffle fries on the side. Absolutely amazing! My friends had the 1 kg of meat and it was also cooked... More

In Woolloomooloo on the wharf Manta restaurant is a great choice for dining. If seated outside you get a great view of the water and boats. The outdoor heaters certainly keep you warm even on a chilly night. The waiters are young and friendly and the service quick and efficient. The menu is heavily tilted to seafoods but there was... Great place for excellent food and fabulous atmosphere. Try the tasting plate and ask for tables outside.

We booked this restaurant based on published reviews, what a disappointment. The food was tasty but the servings were miserable in size,I didn't think such small oysters existed.I fail to see how a place like this gets away with it,perhaps it is the location, I wouldn't go back. The joint was also expensive and the service erratic to say the least.

On a cold Winter night, it was still comfortable sitting outside and enjoying the lights of the city due the very effective overhead gas heaters. We took advantage of a Tuesday night 50% discount on our food (offered through a booking service) Even then, I thought prices were quite high. We had shared bread and olives to begin, an entrée... Great location on the wharf at Wooloomooloo, but not on a wintery night when the heater goes out every few minutes and they need to offer blankets to keep patrons warm. The food service was ok until the main course when they served 2 in a party of 4 people and then seemed to forget the other 2. In fact... More
