This is an Aussie tradition and the cafe sits on edge of harbour at Woolloomooloo. The pie and peas is great but others were happy with hot dogs.

This was our first meal in Sydney. The store is classic, and it is beside the habour. You can enjoy the food and the sea view. We ordered Hot Dog de Wheel and a beef pie. The hot dog is really big that can be a lunch. The sauce tastes great and it is full of sauce on the hot... More

I've been to Harry's Cafe de Wheels a fair few times now and as I was in Woolloomooloo, I decided we might as well grab one of their delicious pies to keep our hunger at bay! There were already lots of hungry diners sitting on benches around the food truck munching on pies, wedges and hot dogs. Their Tiger is... More

Cute little place near Paddy's Market. Have a variety of pies(meat, veggie) and pasties. They were waiting for a fryer to make french fries(chips). Sit down outdoors or take to hotel. Loved it, taste of England.

We had a pie floater at the Newcastle one - excellent! Being British, I have eaten many pies in my time and this ranks high - not quite as good as the Ned Kelly Pie in Adelaide but not far off. Loved the trailer and how nothing seemed to have changed over the years - you have to try it!

This was a 'must do' recommended by a previous Sydney resident. The thought of a pie, topped with a mound of mashed potatoes and gravy, sitting in a pool of mushy peas wasn't overly appealing but it was really nice. The pie was a real revelation - good quality filling.

Absolutely love going to Harry's Cafe for a good old pie, peas and gravy. I remember going here when I was a little girl and the line ups for a pie were very long but certainly worth the wait. We had to take our little ones here to share a piece of Sydney's history and they certainly love the trip... More

A place not too accessible if you do not drive. But it is located next to the wharf and you can see the Australian warships berth near the area. There is a large selections of pies and my favourite is the beef pies with the mashed potatoes and mashed green peas. Great place to just relax and chill out.

First experience with this famous café. The Tiger pie, which consisted of mash potatoes, mushy peas, beef, and gravy was delicious and unique.

For one thing, I love food trucks. But I've never seen one that's been around since the 1940's! And with a water view, to boot! There are several park benches scattered around to eat your classic Tiger: a meat pie of your choice, topped with mashed potatoes, mashed peas and gravy. I actually came here twice to show it to...
