Harry's is a must go to in Sydney. Been around since the 40's and still going strong. My recommendation is definitely the Tiger Pie, Named after Harry himself. In a nice quiet spot in woolloomooloo by the water it is in a great location. Best Pies and hotdogs in Sydney

Visited one evening after watching the sunset from the botanical gardens. It's a cool little stand and the pie, mash, peas and gravy combos are tasty and look amazing. You will find better pies elsewhere but none with such history.

I had fond memories of eating pie and mash here almost 20 years ago, and thankfully had the opportunity to visit again this time with my family. They were so tired of me talking about Harry's before our trip that i thought it would not live up to expectations. Whilst its never going to set the culinary world alight its... More

This one (in Woolloomoolloo) is the original Harry's. Apart from serving really good hot dogs (with chilli con carne etc) it serves through to at least 1am.

This isn't the sort of place you should come to for food, it's iconic but if you want a good pie go to any old bakery and get one of theirs, chances are it will be fresher and nicer. These pies are fine and the peas and mash are harder to come across which is the only reason I go.... More

Nothing beats having a warm Chilli Dog on a cold spring morning, looking out towards the Harbour... Chilli Con Carne filling is generous and chilli sauce has a decent kick to it. easy to get to by walking (abt 15 mins) from the City.

The only place for pies of you are in Sydney. The pies are occasionally a little dry or a little heavy on nutmeg, but it is more about the experience with Harry's. It is one of the first places I go when I return to Sydney.
