I met with a friend for dinner last night. I am vegan and she is coeliac so finding a restaurant that would cater for both of us was a bit of a challenge. Peace and Harmony is not only vegan friendly but it also has a Gluten free section, perfect! Food is good, not exceptional but yummy and satisfying and... More

Close walking distance from Wynyard Station and Darling Harbour. Serves nice vegetarian Thai food. Prices are similar to other restaurants of the same scale (about A$15 for a single order) but portion is large, so sharing may be a more feaible idea for small to average eaters.

Had not been here for a while- and won't be rushing back the word service is an oxymoron- 3 of us went for dinner. The food came out one dish at a time and each person ate seperately food was served onto cold plates so by time it reached table it was only warm

Having looked forward to trying this restaurant we were so disappointed. The service was so poor - our drinks took ages to arrive initially . We were waiting for about 40 mins when I asked the waiter where our food was and then he came back asking what our order was again!! Finally the food arrived. One dish was quite... More

Dined here alone on a recent business stay. Was excited to try - love Thai food, and figured I'd do well at a place that was no-frills, and surviving on strength of its food. Other reviews looked promoising. My main contained mock meat - something I can take or leave - and vegetables - but the vegetables were poorly cooked.... More

Simple and delicious Asian Food. What's more its all veg - as the restaurant uses different options such as tofu to make the fake meat (fake chicken or even duck). The portions were generous, the sauces and taste were divine and the service was also very good (we were in a hurry to catch the fire works at the harbor)... More

Simple, rustic place for a home cooked feel -good food. Portions are generous. Service is slow and don't ask for any fresh juice. They can't or won't make them. Almost every dish is about AUD15.50.

We waited over 35 minutes for our dessert - in the end we had to walk out as we had a train to catch. The entrees of curry puffs were tasty. Mains of chili basil and massaman curry were mediocre. Huge pieces of Chinese cabbage and few vegetables. Massaman sauce was tasty however. We weren't very impressed overall.

Great tasty food, when my friend suggested that we go to this place for dinner I thought I would be a little unsatisfied with only veg and tofu... I'm also a little skeptical about the fake meat but it was actually all really tasty! The service wasn't super fast but very friendly and we weren't in a rush. I'd happily... More

Came here with two vegetarian friends & they were really impressed with to large selection of vegetarian friendly dishes. Usually they are use to having maybe one option from an entire menu. I chose the vegetarian laksa & I was not disappointed! Delicious curry soup & nicely prepared tofu & veggies. It was good that we could BYO too. Would... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
