Fresh, tasty food in a cosy environment

Warm service, huge portions of fresh seafood deliciously prepared. Not the easiest place to find so get a cab!

Though highly recommended on Trip Advisor, were were disappointed. The saffron fish pie was tasteless as was the pricey entree of ravioli. The red snapper main was excellent and the salt and pepper fried squid was fine. Nice staff and service and lively, but don't go for the food.

Not quite sure what any fuss about maybe here. Wine list is short, esp on Australian wines, no Australian sparkling at all despite many wines being a mile better and cheaper than the prosecco on the list, and very limited choice in reds by the glass. Water is all imported too, unless you take the delicious (genuinely) tap water. Starter... More

What a memorable dining experience! We started with the natural rock oysters which had a fresh and full flavor we have never experienced before. My main was the Barra mundane and my wife had the grilled whitefish moussaka, both fantastic!. As a side we had the grilled haloumi, incredible! As I said, a memorable dining experience.

A wonderful place to eat! The food was wonderful and the service was great. Definitely a place worth visiting. Its also not huge like some restaurants so you get served quickly!

We had dinner early on a Sunday night - not as buzzing as at peak times, but had super helpful but unfussy service from the waiter/manager. The squid ink ravioli - superb. Other entrees also excellent, perfect mixtures of tastes, well presented, attention to texture as well. Shared one main -- very, very good, but it's the entrees and the... More

We went on a Friday night The place is small and buzzing. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful waiter who suggested we start with a plate of Gambaretti (small deep fried prawns- heads removed) They were okay, nothing fantastic For entree we had Squid Ink and Ravioli- ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Perfection on a plate. Serving small ( 2... More

After reading comments on Tripadvisor, we booked a table at this place for our special occasion. We were not disappointed. The place is quite small and, I guess, could be crowded at late evening, but it was OK during our visit. The service was quite good; very knowledgeable personnel explained specifics of their dishes and gave good suggestions. The food... More

Bolstered by TA reviews we had our concirege make a booking here. The service was good and the wines excellent. 3 of us shared the tasting platter, and we felt it came up just short: it didn't look substantially bigger than the 2-person platter and I was still a bit hungry after the main. Enjoyed it but wouldn't rush back.

Delicious fish dishes on the menu, most served with interesting salads. It was a shame that they had run out of the salmon and a couple of other items by 8pm, though.
