We attended the Waterfront in their function rooms on the second floor. The views were gorgeous. The food was pretty delicious too. We had an alternate drop service for entree/mains which was controversial because no one really wanted either of the fish options for either course. I think it's time people realised fish is becoming an increasingly acquired taste. Probably... More

bought a couple of vouchers for the winter special. Huge portions and a good choice of mains. The wine which came with the voucher was pretty ordinary but was drinkable. Great service and of course the location and view is priceless

What a view! Beautiful location for dinner even in winter (plenty of heaters avail). Our waiter was fantastic and attentive, went an extra mile to ensure our son could enjoy a nut free meal with dessert. We enjoyed the food and wine and had a lovely family night out.

Bought a voucher and friends joined (a La Carte) great food, good sized proportions. Will definitely come back, very friendly, highly recommend to visit to eat and chat with friends. Lovely full moon rising over Opera House.

My partner and I were on holiday from Perth and purchased a fantastic Groupon for dinner here. We booked a table 3 weeks in advance and ordered a 3 course dinner with wine. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived so we sat at the bar and ordered a coke - which was Pepsi. Not a good start. We were... More

Amazing location in Circular Qy with the view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. You need to book the table if you do not want to wait a long time to be sitting. Good service with good food and reasonable waiting time between dishes.

Had a business dinner here based on a recommendation from a colleague. With spectacular views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour, the food was always going to struggle to match the scenery. And this proved to be the case. A good place to impress those from out of town, otherwise look for some better local options.

Booked online for a business dinner with foreign visitor. I'd been here before and knew the view would impress. I booked online but was not made aware that during winter the Waterfront and Wolfies next door combine into one restaurant. Our shared octopus to start had very little octopus. my main of beer battered fish was just that and okay.... More

Unfortunately a place I cannot recommend in this beautiful city with great places to dine and wine. The wine list is very small, to say the least, ordering and having starters&mains took 35 min. thus I had the feeling to be in a fast food place rather than in a restaurant. Service however was nice.

My hubby took me here for our 8th Wedding anniversary and i loved it. Even though it was pouring with rain the view really is something to rave about even though we are Sydney siders. The menu is quite extensive and so was the wine list. We had the salt and pepper prawns which were delicious as were the Queensland... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
