Visited this place on Saturday night for the first time and quite enjoyed the experience. Being a Saturday night expected it to be very busy but it was not. It is a casual basic place with pleasant staff who provided good friendly service. The food, while not the best Japanese I have had, was very enjoyable, fresh and plentiful. The... More

Can you imagine waiting for over a hour and when your at the front of the line they start serving people behind you? That's what happened here and when I asked about it,it was if I wasn't standing there! They made some excuse and still took people behind me,we didn't end up eating here and for good reason

Really nice staff and really cheap option but the food is terrible! Wouldn't recommend this place unless you're on a budget.

This place is busy! Very popular, huge turnover of customers - food service was extremely prompt and the quality was excellent! Shared 3 chef specials with a side of the California rolls between 4 of us! Totally full to bursting on departure. Good value too.

This is quality food from the fresh sashimi, the sushi and all the cooked food you won't go wrong. Top quality food to eat in or take away. The food comes out very fast which can be a negative if you are wanting a leisurely meal however the food is so you it out weighs this.

Always lovely to get back here and bring my friends to have dinner. Affordable and great meals. The staffs are always very helpful and polite. Definitely must try this place if you love Japanese food. Make sure you book in advance to ensure you have seats ready. Otherwise there might be a long wait during dinner time.

The service was excellent. Comfortable spot to have a relaxed meal. It's BYO. The vibe is nice as it's small but bustling. Food was good. I wouldn't recommend the gyoza, but everything else (sashimi, tempura, etc etc) was really good.

We went to Sushi Suma tonight based on a recommendation. Ordering sushi I checked with our waiter to ensure wasabi was not included but kept separate. All of a sudden the chap seem to have forgotten to understand and communicate in English language. When sushi followed, we couldn't help to find a generous amount of wasabi smudged on the nigiri.... My friend from overseas ordered sushi and he wasn't aware that wasabi was incorporated inside the nigiri sushi. When the platter arrived we made a polite request to see if it was possible to have the wasabi served on the side and not inside the sushi as my friend has an allergy and cannot eat any of the sushi. I... More
