This Teppanyaki restaurant cooks decent food but taste wise can be found at any other teppanyaki restaurants. The chef was accommodating and knows how to accommodate for dietary requirements. Not entertaining or provide an enjoyable experience either. Wait staff preferred cleaning up instead of serving, had to fill my own wine after 20 minutes of having any empty glass. If... More

Over the years this has been a favourite restaurant for us when we visit Sydney however after this visit we probably won't bother to return. Firstly teppanyaki is always great fun interacting with the chef which is one of the reasons you don't mind spending on the hugely overpriced items - the pay off is the entertainment - well that's... We had our XMAS Lunch at this venue. Whilst the Private room was good; the Chefs need to show more enthusiasm. They create a boring atmosphere. It took about 1/2 hour for our Chef to get organised. One Chef was of Italian back Ground. When asked does he enjoy cooking Teppanyaki; he replied "at times I would rather cook Italian".... More

Booked for 8pm, arrived at 7:55 to be greeted with 'you're early' and made to wait in the foyer. When we were shown up to the restaurant others were already seated so there was absolutely no reason for us being told to wait. The menu provides several set meals. I chose 'The Rocks' which was salmon, king prawn, scallop and... More

Have visited here before but thought after a recent family dinner here they warranted another review. I had my sister visiting from melb and took her and my daughter for dinner.

Waited an hour and a half for our meal as the chef had gone missing. A new chef arrived and we were asked if 2 strangers could join our business Christmas lunch! Service was appalling, food very average - no one else in the the restaurant should probably have been a sign! This is the first time I have ever... More

we recently bought Groupon vouchers to dine there. So the price is very reasonable for a full teppanyaki dinner in the Rocks area. The food was delicious and plenty, especially the Wagyu steak. It was lot bigger than the other teppanyaki places I have been to. Their saki wine list could be a little better. It is on the expensive... More

We purchased a Groupon voucher for $88 per person (for upgrade to whole lobster). It was a 10 course dinner. The dinner was priced at $195 per person. I won't pay $195 for the meal, but $88 definitely worth it! Most of the dishes were cooked on the Teppanyaki grill. Lobster was the best. The wagyu roll was unfortunately overlooked,... More

We felt like Japanese and this restaurant was close to where we were staying. We walked there and had a great time! We had the set menu that included the lobster. There was plenty of food and we couldn't eat everything. The crepes for dessert were a great end to a lovely meal. Justin was our chef and he was... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
