Great food a bit rushed

Food was great as usual but also as usual a bit rushed. Soft shell crab is a must have - hard to beat

Been coming to Phamish for years, never fails to impress. Not a romantic, stay 3 hours kind of place - but great food and well priced. Beef Lac Lo and Calamari are my favourites! BYO available!

From the duck pancake to the crispy skin chicken in plum sauce. I'm in love with the food. Everything is super fresh and taste amazing. My favourite in Sydney.

Pretty unsatisfied with the food. It would have been fine if the dishes were $12-$15 a meal but at $20+ it wasn't worth it. Plus the staff were really grumpy. Go two doors over and get some Italian

I have been here several times and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is always incredible. I recommend going early so the whole menu is available.

I was warned that I would not experience "fine dining" but god street food. The food was good but I had expected more after reading other reviews. We ordered a number of dishes and asked that they space them out so we could enjoy each one. No such luck - they brought them altogether and of course the food went... More

I like fine dining, I like street food...I just like really good tasting food. This cute place is tucked away in surrey hills is a real treat. Ingredients are super fresh, and popular items on the menu 'sell out' as the ingredients run out. I get the impression its so that they can maintain their overheads by keeping a good... More

I just ducked in for a quick lunch and it sure fitted the bill. Next to the Pub at the corner of Liverpool and Palmer Sts Great Vietnamese rice paper roles, subtle flavours and dipping sauce, a beef dish with fine noodles, loads of raw vegies and been sprouts and a flavoursome "pour over sauce" which was subtle, light and... Really disappointed in this restaurant. Food was tasty however everything was geared towards getting you in and out as fast as possible. Not a pleasant way to spend an evening with friends.

I booked this restaurant yesterday and planned to meet some friends there after work at 6.30pm. No mention at booking that they would be rushing us off just over an hour after our booked time. Got a text message with less than an hour to go asking to confirm…not a problem… and saying we had clear off by 7.45! not... More

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighborhood Profile
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
