The food was very expensive for what you received. You pay for the location, but unless you are sitting right at the front of the restaurant, you can't see anything anyway. (Might as well eat somewhere else where the food is more reasonably priced.) 4 prawns and a small Greek salad $42 + $5 surcharge = not really a satisfying... More

Been here before and decided to take friends visiting from U.K. here for lunch. Great venue, plenty of seating outside and great table service. We had, Baby lobster thermadore, muscles with Chilli and tomato sauce/soup. King Prawns and barramundi (fish and chips). All delicious. Last time we shared a seafood platter which was also outstanding. Couldn't fault the service. Would... More

Service was fine, but the food was disappointing. Ordered the Surf & Turf, ordered the steak medium rare, but it was overcooked, tough and dry. The surf was only 2 shrimp. A bit overpriced, but your paying for the location not the food. Also the mandatory $10 service charge for Sunday when they were half empty, and only two of... More

There are loads of eateries around Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay so you are spoilt for choice. Our travelling companions settled on Nicks and we were not disappointed.Whilst fish and seafood are the main attractions there are other menu choices too. it has a busy and lively atmosphere and you can sit and watch the world and his wife pass... We come here because the snapper is always good quality - it's a bit pricey but once we went to the fish shack in Manly and got Rotten fish - so never again! The potato salad is lovely.

I've been to nicks a few times before and the quality has just been declining over time. We ordered a seafood chowder and a hot and cold platter for two. The oysters look like it's been sitting there for an hour or so. The moreton bay bugs and crabs seem like they've been boiled for an hour. Absolutely no taste... More

We have preordered 3 seafood platters 45 minutes before our booking time slot to make sure be ready when our guests arrive. According to their website booking the food need to be ordered only 20 minutes or say 30 minutes in advance (once you arrived Cockle Bay Wharf) to be ready. But we have waited for another 30 minutes after... More

Thank you for posting your feedback. Firstly we would like to say we are sorry for the delay. I would like a little more information to try and understand the circumstances. When guests order from our marina menu when they are approaching us on a boat, we normally allow approx. 20 minutes from the time the order is placed. This... More

As massive seafood lovers thought we would give this place a try, the menu is quite extensive so there were plenty of options. I went for the mussels to start which I have to say are probably the best I have ever had!! They were huge and really tasty! beware though the portion size was massive so if you do... More
