Good menu, great service, much better than neighbouring restaurant. Not open Monday or Tuesday. Try the paella!

For a quite restaurant service wasn't good. Par baked bread rolls i wasn't expecting and food was lacking in love.and flair . For the same price i would have gone in to the Morrison on George street and would be happier after this experience

Poor quality, poor service, terrible compared to MoVida in Surry Hill, the only good thing about the night was the wine.

Food was ok, but not special. It is supposed to be a Spanish restaurant, but certainly doesn't give off a good vibe. Nice and clean, friendly wait staff. The food was tasty enough and definitely ok but next time in Sydney would not be bothered to return.

Charr is an oasis amidst noisy overpriced competitors. It is spacious and quiet, and the service is unobtrusive. The food was delicious and sensibly priced.

We ate at Charr with friends while visiting Sydney in early April. I think it must have changed the menu from some of the earlier reviews because there was a distinct and flavoursome tapas leaning to the menu and the main dish we had of the wagyu steak skewer was a winner. The decor seemed fine to us as our... More

The food here is very very good. Unfortunately it is let down by a space that is not great. There were only around 7 or 8 people there the night we were there and the marble floors and hard surfaces everywhere made it somewhat noisy. The food though was well worth it. The Skewers are presented beautifully hanging above the... More

Chosen for the menu, we enjoyed the food immensely. The wait staff lady was gorgeous, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a classy venue and not too expensive.

Located on Level 1 of the Amora Hotel on Jamison, the setting is contemporary. There aren't a huge array of menu items but enough to please most tastes. The soup of the day was huge and good value and the roasted duck nicely done with the most scrumptious rhubarb relish!!!!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
