Recently visited with my 2 daughters and 3 young grandchildren. We were welcomed by helpful and friendly staff. We choose a number of tapas dishes and they provided a free plate of chips for the children. The tapas were tasty and good size to share We noticed it was very quiet and could use some background music to set the... More

Went there for a dinner with friends and we ordered few dishes with the result that was not as traditional Spanish restaurant you think. Look like nothing a fresh . Even calamari didn't taste good. If you are looking to eat Spanish ......well I think is better don't eat here. All food is full of garlic and you can smell... More

Either a big rip-off or extremelyh overpriced. Went there on 19/12/16, and had 2xTapa dishes, 1 x main course & 1 x desert, plus 3 x Scotch & Cokes and 2 x glasses of red. Total cost $150.00. So much for a reasonably priced Christmas luncheon.

We visited Captain Torres for lunch. We had the $45pp banquet. The food was really disappointing. The prawns were overcooked and rubbery. The paella was stodgy. The spicy food was not spicy and overall the food was very salty. Many in our group left feeling unsatisfied. The service was reasonable but we were all crammed in so tight, the servers... More

It was my first time here and I love tapas. The mussells were to die for, we drank all of the sauce they were cooked in, the mussells were very small though. The calamarie was beautifully cooked as was the chorizo. We also had the suckling pig and paela which were really good. The sangria is also worth getting, very... More

First visit to this restaurant. First night in Sydney. We went because we have a house in Spain and so are used to and love Spanish food. Very noisy with a party of at least fourteen people at the adjacent tables in a small space. I ordered the medallions of fillet steak. Medallions they were not - more like lumps... More

The food was traditional Spanish. We shared 4 tapas, plenty for two. Then had churros and Spanish coffee, both awesome. The service was absolutely fantastic, food great. Lovely place that will become a regular in Sydney!

We first went here back in the 1970's ( it opened in 1973) and haven't been back for a while. So revisiting was a nostalgic experience. The decor is still the same- dark Spanish wood etc- but, most importantly, the food is still excellent. We had three tapas dishes, and I had a beef main course. The garlic prawns were... More
