The best breakfast of my life! I ordered some eggs benedict with salmon and it came out in a croissant instead of muffins. What a lovely surprise! On the side I also got some pickles and potato hash. Those housemade pickles were amazing. But not as amazing as the potato hash! How did they make this perfect little potato cake?!?!... More

This is the coolest place in the area - if you lucky to get in. Come at opening times when the queues are shorter. A must visit

While we eat here regularly and the food usually good, the 25 minute wait today for four people and unhelpful attitude from staff just led us to walk away and won't be back.

Popped in for my second visit for lunch this time. Ordered the following: Brown rice bowl with chicken and pulled pork Ginger kimbucha Service was great, very friendly and got a table after only waiting 5 min. Be prepared to wait as this place is popular. Just put your name down and go for a little walk down Crown St... More

Just grabbed a quick lunch with friends and all our dishes were fab, the home made soup, the super bowl salad and the sandwich. Nice little and friendly cafe in the heart of surry hills. The coffee is delicious too.

This place was amazing to say the least! I traveled with a friend and we ended up eating brunch there two of the five days we were in Sydney. The atmosphere was great, we didn't feel like tourists at all, just two people eating at a small local joint back home. The menu had some staple choices, and then some... More

Always excellent (baked eggs are great, but so if the whole menu, I had the vegetarian burger today. Scrambled eggs are a little too runny). Delicious food, friendly staff, toddler friendly.

Stopped in for breakie and were very happy with the offerings. Huge portions and really tasty. We got the creamed corn with poached eggs and the mexican breakie. Coffee great and nice atmosphere. Friendly service and reasonably priced for the area. Definitely worth it if in the area.

This suburb has so many food options. However for breakfast this is probably one of the better ones Ive been to.. Service was great. We did have to wait 15 minutes for a table but I have no issues with doing so. Just go for a little walk in the area to kill time. The food was wonderful. We ordered... More

Neighborhood Profile
Surry Hills
Once regarded as the traditional fashion area, Surry Hills has broadened its appeal. This neighborhood continues to distinguish itself as a shopping destination, offering the best collection of one-of-a-kind boutiques, designer brands and flagship stores in the city. Today, this area has evolved into a hub of media, design and professional services - a colorful and diverse place equally known for its antique dealers, art galleries, cafes and pubs. Strolling down the street on a Saturday morning, you’ll see a mix of students, artists, hipsters and a few all-nighters from Oxford Street, the “Gay Capital of Sydney”. In this vibrant neighborhood you will find bohemian chic and modern style co-existing side by side.
