Great little joint.. I ordered the Crackles Classic and it was served on a nice baguette bread that was crisp on the outside and had a nice chew to it. Loaded up with slow roasted pork, pickled veggies and cracklins.. it was delicious the bread holds up to the ingredients and condiments. A very popular late night spot.

The sandwiches are all right, but nothing to write home about it and $14 is a bit pricey for what it is: a bread roll, coleslaw and 3 - 4 pieces of pork belly. At the end this place is a bit like most places around the Surry Hills - Darlinghurst area, overpriced food for what it really is.

the quality of the pork is top grade, anyway that these guys marinate it, it's done to perfection, the crackling is warm and when bought by the cup you receive a generous portion, the variety of styles makes it a place you can go back to again and again

Lots of good choices, but the cracking pork is a must. The pork meal itself is so tender, and the crackle is amazing! Goes well on a bun with salad and what I think was mayo, but I'm going back to try the chilli sauce next time. At only $13 it's definitely worth a visit.

Awesome experience. Little space, which has a amazing flavour. diferents meats, diferents options, each one unique. I ordered a classic mr crakles and bufalo chiken wing... I just can say something, wau!.crispy pork was deliciouuus, I know that is not 100% healthy but sometimes is the best option for a hard day. I will come back!!!

I wanted some fried chicken but I couldn't find anything open on a Monday night then I saw Mr Crackles and thought it would be a decent alternative... and it was. It was basically a pork belly sandwich served Banh Mi style... the bread was fresh and crunchy, the pork was obviously slow cooked, properly rendered down and super porky... More

Loads and loads of pork and crackle. One serving on a bun is way too much for one person. Well for me anyway. Fries with melted cheese is a winner. Whole meal quite memorable. Surely blow carb consumption in just this one meal but it's worth it!

I love this place. The staff are great and the rolls and crackling are amazing. Hard to find parking right on oxford street so would suggest public transport. It is well worth it!

This place was on my list of food place to visit when I went to Sydney for Christmas. Thanks to google maps and my brother's navigation skills we found it! The food is ridiculously good! The crackling are tone to perfection! We ordered pork belly with crackling with salad and one in a roll. I found the roll hard to... More

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighborhood Profile
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
