We have been to the north end cafe a few times and always enjoyed our visits as our grandchildren love the play area out the back, on a recent visit we found the play area to be dirty and the toys grubby and in need of a good wash, which is a shame as it's the main reason we go.... More

Kate Cass and her sister have done a great job with this cafe - relaxed, fun and very good service. Nice place to spend an afternoon reading the paper and drinking coffee. Will not disappoint.

We stopped in for a coffee and to relax for a couple of hours. The guys here are lovely, a very relaxed atmosphere but great service, the coffee was awesome and the food was divine (we had a roasted cauliflower and chickpea salad and the curried lentil burger). Very tempted to walk back down for the breakfast menu tomorrow morning!... More

The North End Cafe ticks all box for me. Beautiful food, lovely staff ( very understanding of kids messiness and naughtiness :-) ) and a nice set up which makes you feel at home. Big thumbs up !!!

If your looking for breakfast somewhere a little out of the ordinary, then look no further. The menus are handmade, glued to the inside of Little Golden Books, we can all remember them, Saggy Baggy Elephant, Scrawny Tawny Lion etc. the chairs are all mismatched wooden items, the staff are so friendly and the food wholesome and well priced. My... More

This cafe has an awesome unique and quirky feel to it. Nice, friendly service. The food was great and everyone at my table seemed to enjoy it. I was a bit disappointed to hear that they didn't offer gluten free bread. As I am a big burger fan, and it is very rare to come across a cafe that does... More

Brilliant, cleansing lunch. The shredded lamb shoulder was grand and well presented with salad and sweet spud sides. A++ chilled atmosphere.

What a little treasure in Maroubra, it's warm a bit quirky and just feel good. Coffee is great, real tea leaves in tea pots, large servings and some interesting things on the menu like the pasta.
