Had the $12 steak lunch special and whilst just ok in quality it proved to be pretty good value for the CBD and it's available every day. Bar staff are friendly and the place has a nice homely feel about it.

Stayed at the Vibe hotel opposite, but this was our regular at nights. Friendly staff, decent value food, and live music on nights when we were there.

Would highly recommend this restaurant. The menu is varied, prices are very reasonable, food is great and staff prompt, helpful and fast. Dining room is upstairs and pub is downstairs.

Visited the Crown Hotel whilst staying across the road at the Vibe hotel.. I ordered the Supreme Pizza for $13. It came quickly, however was very disappointing. The base was undercooked, there was very little topping and too much cheese.. it was a glugy mess. I've eaten at the Crown many times before whilst staying in Sydney & have never... More

We had a couple of drinks and finger foods during the weekend . The place was packed and since it was a weekend , there was a band playing . Staff were attentive and prices were reasonable . Highly recommended

This is like stepping back in time to the beginning of the last century - in fact it is as this place has been immaculately preserved. The food is excellent as is the service and all well priced. A perfect place to get away from the busy city

From other reviews I had understood they had a lot of gluten free options, the menu certainly looked suitable with various salads, Thai and Nepalese dishes but the only dishes on the very long menu that were actually gluten free were the steak and two grilled fish dishes. We had the barramundi which was inexpensive but fairly tasteless I thought,... More

Great time until manager ruined it. After a great welcome, and good food it all got ruined by a manager. An employee was finishing work, and he started question him loud about if he had finished everything. He continued this with a harsh voice, and so loud that we all could here it. As a guest I felt uncomfortable. He... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
