Was in Sydney for 4 days and had plans to visit the original Harry's but as this was just a short walk from our hotel decided to eat here instead. Whilst the location is noisy and is at the back of the theatre surrounded by shops and markets with just outdoor seating and minimal service from staff (they serve you... More

Kind of a crazy location with a lot of crowds and so we stopped for a snack here, ate some average pies, and then moved on with our day. It wasn't our favorite meal of the trip but it was ok. We spent about $6-7 per pie which I thought was a little expensive.

We visited Harry's based upon based upon the positive reviews and hype surrounding the place, thanks to John Torode featuring it in his recently broadcasted food show. On our first visit they had sold out off most pies and on our second visit we also experienced them not having the pies we wanted but we opted for a different flavour.... More

Diner take there. The food is very correct, service was "minimum". Price are correct and does include beverage (for 13 AUD). The ground level room is exceptionally noisy, go upstairs where is a smaller room more intimate.

We came here for dinner and were served immediately but by the time we left there was quite a line. I tried the cheese and bacon pie, my mother had the pastie. Both were absolutely delicious but were slightly stale which made me think they had been sitting in the warmer all day. The handcut chips and gravy was fantastic,... More

There's a queue by mealtimes, so best to arrive early. OBTW, be careful not to leave food unattended on table while you head back to the counter to grab condiments, etc. The pesky pigeons are aggressive and dive into your food. They are not scared of flying inside the garbage can to peck on leftovers. As for the quality, it's... More

I love this cafe. It used to be a train carriage. I've been going for years. Great food, great staff. And great customer service. ' I do miss seeing that train. Now it's gone. ;( but it's still a great place. And a handy location. You must give it a try! I'll still go there for plenty more years to... More

I came here after visiting Paddy's Market as I was feeling peckish and had heard the history. I had a pie and peas and despite me generally hating mushy peas - oh this hit the spot!! The staff member was really friendly and willing to chat and the food was hot and fresh and although not exactly high end, it... More
