got ignored while staff chatted, expensive, couldn't be bothered attitude. Then got my change when I went to pay and there was a mistake. Sure this was a while ago, maybe they have cleaned up their act, hopefully anyway.

I had lunch at Black Pony after having a long walk by Coogee beach. The food and service are great. I had the lamb burger and house wine.

We went here on a rainy day welcomed by friendly staff. Had their eggs Benedict which was on point and a double shot latte. I think this is the new owner running the shop and can see she is making some great changes. Will be...More

Had to hear from the waitress on a Saturday summer afternoon at 14:00h that the kitchen was close so we couldn't eat there. It's really disappointing to hear from a business that they don't want to work anymore, specially a place that used to have...More

Stopped for coffee - was not disappointed. Staff were welcoming and the coffee was good. Was the only one there, but couldn't see a reason - certainly haven't found anything better along this strip.

Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the
smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi

that does not have big waves, making it an excellent
family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right
across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens
in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night
