Sensational chicken wings!

Love this place! Absolute must-eat are the chicken wings. Spicy, tingly and completely delicious. The pulled pork on steamed buns are also fantastic. Tried to satay pork ribs too - a little salty for my taste, but still very tasty. I would recommend sitting outside on Summer evenings and enjoying... read more

A good mate suggested I should go there with a client and booked a table for two. Top quality good and not standard Chinese. Top fit-out and staff. We were looked after so well. Cant wait to go again and try other seafood dishes!!!!!

This place offers everything in my opinion. Food is of top standard at a good price as well as the staff being professional but friendly at the same time. Definitely will come back.

Had wanted to try this restaurant for some time. We arrived on a very wet evening and stood for far too long waiting to be greeted and seated. Outside seating in the quirky underneath bird cage area was not an option on this occasion. Wait staff knowledgable, friendly and helpful with menu choices. The sashimi was a hit. Delicate and... We had the $77 banquet - plenty to eat. Some courses were excellent e.g. wagyu beef massaman; hervey bay scallops with turmeric and chili; and the prawn san choy bao. Wine list was interesting and reasonably priced. Service was excellent and the meal was well-paced. We can recommend this place.

We went here on a Friday night just before a performance at the City Recital hall next door. We selected the pre-theatre menu for the Sydney Festival which appeared to be good value at $55 per head but unfortunately turned out not to be the case. The meal started off well with our entrees of san choy bao and spicy... More

It was the best restaurant I have ever been to in my life I would recommend the pork San Chou Bow it is delicious. The crispy chicken was succulent and the drinks and service was exceptional. Will be back From Benjamin Budlender (9 years old) and celiac.

Excellent food, efficient service, asking if we were on a timeline or happy to move at our own pace. Something I thought was very rational in the Sydney climate (busy). We took our time, drinks were served promptly, sashimi was delectable, lobster dumplings were just right not overpowered by garnishes, slow cooked lamb was falling apart with tenderness and the... Overpriced. Pretentious and snooty. The food was well presented but several of the dishes were very ordinary. Reheated and extremely over-salted San Choi Bow and fried rice equated to take-away quality with restaurant prices. Our 3rd choice was more acceptable. Service was by the book but with a lot of attitude. The sub-text of "was everything OK" seemed to say:... More

I had lunch here and I thought it was good. I sat outside. There isn't much to look at and it was a dreary day. When I arrived the hostess said they had nothing inside (the place was about 25% full). I almost left then because she so unfriendly. I had the the Duck pancakes which were wonderful. The duck... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
