I feel bad saying that, but come on, you are called Fratelli Fresh! The place is very warm and welcoming and cozy - they sat us right down without a reservation before 6:00 pm. We loved our waiter - so friendly. The food was really good (we had pasta) but when we asked if they made it fresh in house... More

Had some friends out from the UK and thought I would take them to a great little restaurant. This one can recommended and rightly so, food was pretty good not excellent, atmosphere great, nice buzz and table service was prompt and efficient. Well recommended for a basic but solid dining experience. Make sure you wait to be seated as front... More

Nice restaurant in a basement location, we were taken by a friend, would have walked past It! The food was very good, had seafood pizza. Seemed pretty busy when we visited. The only down side was we arrived close to closing time and they seemed keen to get us finished. Having our starters and mains delivered at at the same... More

Went in at 3pm to eat and the kitchen was closed except for pizza which was average size but good. The wine selection was ok and reasonably priced. The draft beer prices at $12 a pint was the most expensive we found anywhere during our visit to Sydney. Not much atmosphere as it is located off the beaten path with... More

I've noticed that Fratelli Fresh has really expanded with there even being a restaurant in Westfield CBD now. I have been to the Bridge St branch and Westfield branch - and I would say that there's always been a bad dish. This is quite a commercial Italian Restaurant with so many branches and the food is just average at best.... More

We had a fortunately quick meal at Fratelli Fresh the other evening. It was very busy (we got the last unreserved table) and incredibly loud. It is underground and all the stone made the sound unbearable by the end of our meal. 3 of us around a small table could not have a simple conversation as those opposite one another... More

I booked a table for an early dinner for 8 after a business meeting. Service was relaxed but efficient and we soon had drinks and antipasto served. Don't miss the zucchini flowers, they're divine. We then ordered mains and I enjoyed pasta and prawns. I tried a little of my colleague's banoffee tart and it was very special. For a... More

On a recent trip to Sydney I met up with some old high school buddies who are ex-Queenslanders. They suggested Fratelli Fresh and I'm glad they did. The polenta appetiser was absolutely delicious and the ravioli was the perfect size and tasted amazing. The staff were helpful and on the spot to offer suggestions and top up beverages. In all... Brussels sprouts were amazing. Chicken scallopini tasted fresh and I loved the delicate scent and taste of basil in the napoli. Huge serving sizes and attentive staff. Drink order was served in a dirty glass hence the average review. Staff handled this well, not charging for the beverage as well as replacing it.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
