Second time we have been their after enjoying the first time so much. Eggs benedict is the highlight. Buffet was pretty good as well. Service is good. Tables are very close together but if they weren't we probably wouldn't have got in so didn't mind.

This was the second visit to sokyo. Great fresh Australian seafood amazing presentation and good service. I would love a share of the restaurants takings as it is always packed full of people devouring wonderful fresh seafood and meat treats Whilst the seafood is amazing you still need the yakitori and the waygu beef. I'm going again soon Ps. Try... More

The food at Sokyo is some of the best Japanese I have eaten in Sydney. The atmosphere is a little off, very loud and odd music choice. Very good overall.

There were two of us on a Friday night for dinner. Our waiter was abrupt and unfriendly from the very start. Three of the dishes... More

We came for dinner on Sunday night after a show. We all ordered cocktails (my martini was good but the green olives had pits and were served in a dish). The food was delicious even though the menu is not very easy to read (hard to tell what to order first and the portion size). The waitress was very helpful... More

This was a pre-show dinner meal at The Star. Service was good as you would expect at an expensive restaurant. On the plus side, service was helpful & efficient. However, food while reasonable was no show stopper as the price would suggest. We had a wide range of meals to share which were not bad but no stand outs. Bill... More

Don't get me wrong the first instance you see my title. The food quality surpassed what I was expecting. However there are a couple of things I thought could have been done better. Firstly, Sokyo allows a seating of max 1 hr per table which I felt was extremely disappointing. I'm a frequent traveller, traversing different countries and five-star establishments... More
