Everything about this restaurant is what I want when dining! Professional staff, amazing food and incredible busy atmosphere. Abit pricey but what do you expect it's in the Star Casino. 5* for everything!!

Arrived with disappointment as reservation was not found, but reception staff was very friendly to allow us sit and eat in the bar lounge. Sashimi very non-traditional offered unexpected sumptuous taste. Sparkling medium sweet Saka is highly recommended. Lamb Chop was on the average only. Kingfish carpaccio was excellent . Do not forget to order their oysters. In general a... More

We enjoyed the flavours and creativity of the dishes. Service was excellent. They have a choice of two areas, one bright and buzzing, one darker and quieter. I think the sake choices let the overall rating down.

We had a lovely evening and the food was amazing however when we got the bill I was shocked at the pricetag. I wouldn't go again... the food was great but not worth such dollars.

The quality here is really great and the price is not over the top, most times i go i normally spend between 140-160 for two people which is not too bad, it has a nice arrangement and the service is always fairly quick

Wow, what an experience. Had dinner with a mate who goes there often. It was mid week and no reservation was required to sit in the bar area. Nice areas available to sit on lounges and order from the main menu. The flavours and presentation of the food were amazing. The sauces that accompanied the dish were out of this... More

Ive never had such an expensive steak before and then having to add sides to the order - wow, however, it was an experience. The cheapest bottle of wine also extreme yet delicious (wine list way too long and adds confusion). It may not be repeated regularly mainly due to the expense, yet it was definitely a treat and lovely... More

My first review in a fine dining scene We went to Sokyo for dinner on Sunday night with our daughter. Im quite impresive that this restaurant was really busy on the Easter day and it was quite shame that they gave us 15% surcharge for the public holiday. After waiting for 5 mins, the host brought us to the table... More

So disappointed by the escalating unbearable diners noises (this is supposed to be a fine Japanese dining?), crowded tables, several inattentive staff running wondering bumping into our seats with pram etc (a female staff in a formal dark dress made no apologies when we asked her to be more careful as we were trying to enjoy the dishes). Overpriced smaller... More
