Went here for date night, such delicious food. My partner said her green curry and wine was spot on and my satay starter, pad thai main and Singha beer did the trick too!
The desserts (monkey balls and affogato) was mind blowing!

The food here is reliably good - I've been coming since they opened a few years' back. We had the whole snapper with tamarind yesterday and it was DELICIOUS. But the portions of the mains we would usually share were noticeably smaller than in the...More
Got off to a bad start when I ordered the Monkey Blend cocktail. What I’d anticipated would be a light, sorbet-style cocktail turned out to be a huge, dense ball of very sweet ice cream with some alcohol around it. Felt like I’d been given...More
When my office first moved to Surry Hills back in 2011, I really liked Muum Maam. This week I gave them three chances to remind me why, but was left wondering whether this group, started by former graduates, had forgotten all of their Spice I...More
The food here was absolutely gorgeous, the portions were ample, the staff were very courteous and the interior is lovely. Would highly recommend this restaurant and in particular the belly of pork. I absolutely ruined my diet but when I couldn't finish, the restaurant were...More
Found this restaurant in Surry Hills as there was 20 of us that needed a single long table to accommodate us all. Muum Maam was a great find and not far from Central station, so good location. Great range of food selection and the coconut...More
I ended up here by accident, had tried to go somewhere else but had arrived to find that place shut. I looked for another nearby Thai restaurant and found this one a short walk away.

Muum Maam is 5 minutes walk from my office and hugely popular at lunch times, normally there is queue outside of people waiting to order takeaway. Today I had a bit of spare time and elected to eat inside. Within 10 minutes of my arrival...More
Everything was perfect!
We had the set menu of $50 per person and it was delicious, tasty and well presented. This is a great option if you want to try many dishes.
The service is also very good.
We just loved everything!
Once regarded as the traditional fashion area, Surry Hills has broadened its appeal. This neighborhood continues to distinguish itself as a shopping destination, offering the best collection of one-of-a-kind boutiques, designer brands and flagship stores in the city. Today, this area has evolved into a hub of media, design and professional services - a colorful and diverse place equally known for its
antique dealers, art galleries, cafes and pubs. Strolling down the street on a Saturday morning, you’ll see a mix of students, artists, hipsters and a few all-nighters from Oxford Street, the “Gay Capital of Sydney”. In this vibrant neighborhood you will find bohemian chic and modern style co-existing side by side.
