Tasty. Not too expensive. Excellent food. Prawn cakes make a nice change from the usual fish cakes :)

This is the closest competitor to chat thai in sydney. Clean place and good food. Served by thai servers and thai chefs.

Ok this place has some of the best pad Thai I've ever had. 10/10 food. The service on the other hand is pretty bad they barely even look or talk to you. If you don't care about service but want good food it's worth it

The restaurant had a funny wet-dog smell and some pesky flies. The food was average/good. I had the cashew chicken and my husband the crispy pork. Menu size and options were nice and service was quick.

We are strongly recommend you to Home if you are craving for authentic Thai food in CBD Sydney. Please get ready to wait for 15-20 min generally during dinner hour. I have tried few dishes in 2 visits, all foods are heavenly delicious. Please inform the waitress if you can't take spicy food. They will adjust the spicy level for... More

Is it authentic Thai food? Well, not really, it doesn't quite taste close to the original. Is it tasty? Well yes! In general, the good was tasty, sweet-ish (this may not be everyone's thing), and generous. Specific food tips: -fish cakes were, IMO, not up to mark. Just like a previous reviewer said, it was small, not springy, and lacked... More

I have been trying several Thai restaurants in Sydney central business district (CBD) and this is by far the best one so far. I got the Chicken satay ($6 for 2 pieces) and the vegetable pad thai (I think $18). both were extremely delicious. the chicken satay sauce was amazing and the pad thai was spicy but perfect. I will... More

Amazed by authentic thai flavours and spicy soups. Had a great time and quite nice ambience. Delicious entrees and mains.

Went a few days ago with friends, it was a 40 minute wait and it was Wednesday night. Not impressed with the cleanliness of the cutlery and plates. There was a fingerprint on the supposedly 'new plate'! However, ordered the chilli basil pork, green beef curry, fish cakes, prawn dumplings, prawn pad thai and then the bread sticks with pandan... We chose this place based on TA reviews. We went at 7.15pm, a group of 6. Had to wait about 20 minutes, which was fine. Place was packed. The first wow factor came during ordering. By the time the wait staff took all our orders on the ipad, some of the first courses already came. While she was still at... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
