The coffee here really is great. These guys produce a beautiful cup of coffee every time. Food menu is good but not exceptional. The only downside is the line - but they do churn the line quickly.

This cafe is operated by a group of south americans who know their coffee. Friendly service and more importantly, great coffee. Great aromatic nose and long finish. Limited seatings and be prepared to queue. Their piccolo shots are the best.

A local friend recommended this place so I tried it. I was not disappointed! Great coffee and their breakfast sandwiches were great too. Fast and friendly so I went there every day I was in Sydney!

I went to Workshop Espresso after reading some review from TripAdvisor. I ordered Caramel Macchiato which was so small but powerful coffee, wake me up after 3 hours sleeping. Moreover, barista are hottie guys that could make you alive!

Walked past this coffee shop in the morning near Town Hall station. There were lots of people buying coffee. Unfortunately I already had my breakfast otherwise I would have tried their coffee! My boyfriend tried their bakery he said it was very delicious!

Really needed a coffee and a sit down - latte and pecan slice - loved it. FYI it's a cash only joint so make sure you have some coin before you order

This city has its share of excellent speciality coffee places but Workshop still serves the best piccolo. Located just across the QVB, it does not have a large seating area (just a row of stools along the wall). Highly recommended for coffee connoisseurs.

Great coffee, some of the best in Sydney. Often make it a regular stop on trips there as you can rely on it being really good. Not sure if it's for those who like weak decafs....

Thank Darren H

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
