Staff are very friendly & welcoming, we also had a nice seat outside facing the harbour. Food was enjoyable, however very overpriced for what it is. You could easily find cheaper and better quality food in Sydney for that price and for that reason I would not return.

After struggling to find a place to eat prior to James Taylor at the ICC, we opted to try Hard Rock Cafe. I could tell that the staff were a little stretched, but the decision to break up the eatery and bar in the way the restaurant is structured, I found a little off putting. After waiting in line for a... We popped in to buy some t-shirts as we always do when we travel. We then went up to have a drink and escape the 40 degrees Celsius heat. The bar was a traditional Hard Rock Cafe and had some great memorabilia! The drinks were good as the girls enjoyed their cocktails and had local beer. The reason I gave... More

Relatives from interstate came to visit so we met them at Hard Rock Cafe. We sat out on the balcony as you couldn't hear yourself speak inside. The service was okay, but the food varied from average to poor. The pasta in one dish was so under-cooked it was hard. Ribs were average, but the chicken wings were so overcooked... More

We had a share plate. It was fantastic, a bit large for us. The service was ok, felt welcome. The Hard Rock is in a great part of Sydney and easy to get to.

We are fans of Hard Rock Cafe's everywhere and Sydney is a good one with a great views over Darling Harbour to the west side of the city. We took advantage of the Valentines Day "Love Sucks" special and had wings, nachos and ribs with a drink and desert for $50! Good food and excellent value. Good service too from... More

As this is a global chain known for it's prices don't expect any different. The price of your outing could rise quite quickly if you dine as a family. The food was okay and some of the staff members were more interested in singing than tending to tables. In my opinion I would not visit again. I'd try somewhere else... More

Hard Rock Cafe has always been one of my favourite! Although it was VERY busy and loud, the staff, food and views were amazing!

Hi Thank you so much for your positive feedback, it is always nice to hear our Rockers have had a great time when they come and join us. Fortunately it is always very loud and very busy, just the way we like it which helps our team along, who are all passionate about the music and service they provide. Thank... More

Came with a friend for the famous Hard Rock experience, left very disappointed. Staff were rude and food was dismal. I didn't finish my meal, nor did my friend. For the price you pay you are much better off visiting somewhere else.

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighborhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to DJ's. Families can visit the Chinese Garden of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Australian National Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
