First visit back after a couple of years with friends. I can’t believe I haven’t been back sooner. We started with the squid and chorizo, so good. We then ordered to share the wagu fillet and suckling pork. One word, awesome. The open pit fires...More

I had such high hopes for this iconic restaurant. I really wanted it to be brilliant and exciting and mind blowing. I really really really wanted to walk away and say I can’t wait to come back. We got the set menu as we had...More

Took a business guest there ordered the suckling pig and the beef skirt Brussels sprouts and caprese salad. To he honest it’s way overpriced for what it is. Not sure if I would be heading back again anytime soon.

Really great food, excellent service, but quite expensive. Good for a special occasion, the ambiance is very low lit and moody. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Steaks are delicious! Had the wagyu and it was melt in your mouth goodness. The chimichurri was excellent...More

We visited for a birthday dinner as a family of four. Some dishes were quite good but overall, we found the food too oily and didn't have a good experience. The biggest disappointment was that our server didn't explain to us is anyway that the...More

Normally I don't mind spending premium amounts of money for food. Even for small serves, however I would have to say that Porteno is poor value for money. We spent close to $500.00 for 5 people and the food was far from what we were...More
