I came here with my father shortly before I had to leave for the airport, and asked the staff if it would be possible for us to sit down and have a meal in time before I had to leave, or if I should grab something quick instead. The man taking my order assured me there would not be much... More

Had a breakfast sandwich and a capachino - busy spot frequented by locals so you know it's good. Staff was very helpful and recommended other local spots for dinner. Definitely would revisit.

Ate breakfast here every morning while staying at the Four Seasons up the street. Coffee was fantastic (of course) and the food was great. Mostly, though, it was the subtle vibe of the place that I enjoyed. Lively, filled with friendly people and enough off the path in a heavily touristy area to provide a good respite.

Fantastic place for breakfast. I had porridge with banana and blueberries. It was fantastic. The Greek yoghurt with honeycomb honey and fresh fruit salad to die for. My husband had the breakfast bap with proper bacon (not streaky which they serve everywhere else in Australia) and egg etc which he really enjoyed. Coffee a speciality here which was best we've... We came for a breakfast and the quality of the food and coffee was pretty good but the service was extremely slow even though it was not full.

The breakfast was so good that we had to come back two days in a row from the central CBD. Googled "Best Breakfast in Sydney" and this come up - for good reason. Tucked away in a little lane off some of the busier areas in the Rocks was this restaurant. Very busy place but can understand why. Some different... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
