What a credit to management and staff, from the moment we walked into this magnificently beautiful refurbished Coffee House, WOW! The staff are warm, sweet, patient and welcoming. The place has it all, best coffee, desserts, service and atmosphere and reasonably priced. We will be back. Cannot compare it to any other! Thank you.

Have visited on a couple of occasions and absolutely love the place. The pastries are fabulous and the macarons are gorgeous. Great location and lovely place to meet friends and indulge in some beautiful pastries. Whenever I'm in Sydney I make sure to visit Baroque!!!

Visited Baroque for brunch and the food was beautiful. The pastries just melt in your mouth, the croissants were beautiful, buttery and flaky, the macarons were beautifully handcrafted and the flavours were wonderful. A must when visiting Sydney.

This was my favourite restaurant. Great food and the people were always lovely. Plus that Volta cheesecake... Please tell me that you are opening somewhere else?

Accidentally walked here on a Sunday lunch time 2 yrs ago and were very impressed. We thought it was just a fluke so we came back for dinner and it was even better. The menu looks simple but once they deliver the food to your table, you wouldn't be disappointed. We've been back for special occasions, with friends and family.... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and pleased to find it is still a special place to eat. Our reservation was made online and we were given the table we asked for which is our favourite window seat, very cosy and comfortable. You may find the other plastic seating not so comfortable! It is recommended they change... More

We had arrived into Sydney quite late and were looking for somewhere to have a simple bistro meal. Despite some of the poor reviews we decided to try Baroque as we had walked past it on many visits but never eaten there. Greeted by very friendly young lady who showed us to a table, brought menus and took our drink... More

I met up with some interstate friends at Baroque Bistro this morning for brunch. As the sign at the top of the stairs stated 'Please wait to be seated' - we waited and waited and waited! Not one staff member came over to seat us, so, after waiting for quite a long time, we actually seated ourselves. Our drink order... More

I stumbled on Baroque by chance and have been back every time I visit Sydney!! Quality of the food is second to none!! I have enjoyed brunch a number of times and enjoyed lunch also. Service staff are very friendly and attentive.

We planned for a brunch on the rocks lately. we end up finding parking near Baroque so we chose to try it as we don't have time to research the area for the best breakfast/brunch restaurant. It was obviously a bad decision, the menu was poor and limited; almost every dish had pork or bacon in it which we don't... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
