I organised a work function at the Shark Hotel, held in the Ante Bar with a 'Casino' theme, and once again they did not disappoint. I have organised a number of functions at the Shark Hotel, and the staff are always very accommodating and Friendly. We had a couple of staff assisting us to setup, Jason and Lucy, and they... More

this place is located in a hotel second floor. Travellers may miss it eadily. Lucky we have a local friend to recommend us to there. The Thai food they make is decent. The environment is also well decorated. To anyone who's reading this, please remember to try their fried ice cream too.

Would not have thought to have ventured in here but a friend recommended it and a work group went for lunch - it was fantastic. The food offers a very broad Thai menu and every dish was excellent - good ingredients and great flavours. The price was also very good, every one enjoyed their lunch !

Went here for a work night out and the manager spoke to myself and a fellow colleague like we were members of her staff. If she spoke the way she did to us for leaning on a wall which had no sign to indicate that you were not allowed to lean on this wall I can only imagine what she's... More

The place is extremely spacious with lots of table room. The ever-smiling staff are quick to supply water and table service. The menus and presentation was easy to understand and the food was flavoursome and most reasonable priced

Looked for a reasonable restaurant in Sydney and went here based on Trip Advisor recommendations. It's a bit strange as you walk in through a rather basic gaming area and the restaurant is located at the back. Food is good and not too pricey.

Ok so you walk in to what looks like the old floor of a casino, wide expanses and heaps of tables with a bar, then you see the restaurant at the rear. Had a lovely small meal of dried beef with dipping sauce then pork belly, washed down with a couple of beers. Nice aura, better than a pub meal... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
