I stumbled upon Clipper Cafe while trawling the streets of Sydney. Service top notch; atmosphere great; coffee up there with Melbourne...my meal divine.

Nice and cosy! Great coffee. My baked eggs/hot pot with lamb&herbs sausage(?) were really filling and tasted flavorful. best place to get some uni work done with free wifi and power socket on all tables too. Waitress was very helpful and even got me a phone charger when i asked if they got any! This place ticks all the boxes... More

We went there for a late breakfast and it wasn't good at all. Service is slow, meals arrived before the drinks. Bacon roll dry as they forgot to put the sauce inside. Expresso is horrible, taste of burnt. The place by itself needs a refresh and you have much better places around like WellCo. Won't come back and clearly don't... More

Firstly let me say 5 Stars for the Barista and his coffee. Absolutely Devine!! Wife and I stopped in for a coffee and a quick bite for work. Ordered a provolone toast (mushroom, cheese, tomatoes on 2 slices of sourdough). Only four other customers at the time and the food took ages to arrive. Once it did it was completely... More

Small and friendly environment. There were many great options on the menu including several smoothies and juices. Will definitely go back!

Highly recommend this lovely café. The food is fresh and generous and the prices are very reasonable in comparison to most Sydney cafes. The staff are friendly and efficient. We had lunch here recently and enjoyed two great salads, one with lamb and the other smoked salmon. My daughter has been here for breakfast, which was great. Looking forward to... More

If you have a food allergy please do yourself a favour and remove the Clipper off your list of gluten free cafes in Sydney. After a extremely recent experience I am absolutely furious as I went to great lengths to stressed to the waiter that I needed my meal made completely gluten free ,with gluten free bread, etc. After taking... Staying in Glebe

Neighborhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
