This place is a favourite for office workers near central Sydney. The foods a good quality but the service is a little on the hit and miss side. They only accept cash which is really inconvenient. Really crowded dining space and they have a high turn over of diners. I would only recommend this restaurant for quick decent Thai meal... More

I love every stir-fried in satang Thai. Tastes authentic, big portion with cheap price ($8.5-10). I've been to some Thai restaurant. This one is the best! I recommended so many friends there and all of them loved it.

Second time we stopped here when visiting Sydney from the US. My daughter works a few blocks from it and enjoys it on a regular basis. We had the chicken pad Thai and thought it was really good but we are not regular Thai food eaters. If you're looking for good takeout, then this is the place but not for... More

Ordered Spicy basil fried rice and Tom yum fried rice. It was way too sweet for our liking. Maybe it has been tweaked to suit the Australian's palate?

I had two meals - only because I lived near by. Spicy prawn rice Chicken noodle both of them were strongly flavored - I am not exactly sure they were healthy or of good quality.

Two small mains for $8.50 each and Two Spring Rolls for $3.50. Okay but not stunning but very good value. Not enough protein (I had Tofu, my partner Chicken) and too much onion.

I just came across this magic takeaway when I was wandering around. It turned out to be one of my favorites. #Ton yum series with seafood are great. Highly recommended. But the taste may vary from time to time.

Enjoying the speedy but friendly service and the great food. I make this a regular place to eat whenever I am in town. Have brought family here as well. Have not had a bad meal here ever. Would recommend to anyone.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighborhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theater, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
