Sepia definitely has the ‘wow’ factor. The food is presented like a work of art and the flavours are incredible. We noticed Sepia won the AFR Top Restaurant in Australia award, so thought we would try it. Can see why it won. It was fantastic...More

The food was very good. The waiter who served us was very nice and friendly. However, I have never experienced such a snobbish owner and inflexible service in my life. We arrived fifteen minutes early on a cold autumn evening with my seven year old...More

My wife and I had a celebratory dinner here on a weeknight. Truly superb dining experience. Firstly, the staff were some of the best that we have seen in any restaurant - attentive, knowledgeable, courteous, professional. As they delivered each amazing dish, we continued to...More

What an experience! From the quiet greeting at the door this was an amazing culinary experience. Dinner with four friends is usually a chatty and noisy affair, but each course dominated rendering us virtually incapable of anything except murmurings of delight. The scallops with scallop...More

I have been to Sepia 6 times in the last 5 years. The food, service is always great. I love everything about Sepia. I can never fault anything. Always new dishes added, I think in line with the seasons. Last went in December and many...More

We have had a lot of great dining experiences in Sydney, but there was only ever going to be one choice for our engagement dinner. Sepia just delivers on so many levels and is one of the few restaurants in Australia to have that same...More

Being an Asian, I personally don't like "fusion" type of Asian food. I don't like how western people try to use Asian food/ingredient into western food, because I personally feel that you have to really understand one's culture and history to make good food. Sepia...More

The food at Sepia was amazing. The dishes were extremely pretty and flavours well balanced and clean. Our favourite dish was the textures of milk dessert. We were so impressed with the food we decided to buy the cookbook too. For those who frequent Sepia,...More

I went to Sepia this weekend for mine and my partners anniversary. We were warmly welcomed when we went in. The room was nice, very new décor and nice buzz in the air. I was surprised by the size of the room and amount of...More

I'm confused. It's the morning after and I'm feeling grateful for the privelege of shelling out a week's pay for something as ephemeral as a dinner. But I honestly am grateful. Last nights dinner at Sepia was everything I love about modern fine dining. It...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,

I wouldn't say this place is kid friendly. There are no high chairs and the food is catered for an adult. Plus it would ruin the experience for someone who wants to enjoy their luxurious dinner.
