A providore's that doubles at night as a restaurant is an interesting concept. Fratelli Fresh does it very well. Great fresh ingredients, simple but authentic Italian dishes, good wine selection and attentive, friendly staff.

I eat at Fratellis regularly - a light lunch may be 3-4 Zucchini Flowers - 5 Italian Cheeses in the filling - just wonderful with a glass or two of the house Pinot Grigio - the evening meal has so many choices - a huge variety of salads - so fresh - pizzas galore - the duck pasta, when on... More

The menu is extensive. Lots of choice for everyone. Nice to sit out on the terrace on a summers day. In particular the crispy polenta with Gorgonzola is a winner. Together with the pear and fennel salad and the pan fried mulloway, a glass of wine and coffee chaser, we had a satisfying meal. Service is quick. Good is consistently... More

6 of us had an enjoyable lunch here. Very casual with attentive staff. It's up a level above Macleay Street. An added bonus for visitors is an upscale B&B called Simpsons a short walk around the corner. This is a buzzy are to stay in, In Sydney, with many options, - this being only one of them.

The venue is trendy, inviting and usually full. The interior is reminiscent of a cafe combined with a gourmet deli selling local produce. I ordered linguine with lemon, chilli, garlic and pangrattato which was heaven and I completed my dining experience with blueberry gelato. I can't stop thinking about the linguine, I'm addicted and as a rule I'm not keen... More

Had lunch here twice. No paper menus, you had to order off the blackboard, which was pretty hard to read if you were seated at the back, LOL. Quite happy with my meals, the pasta portions were VERY generous! Lovely staff, all italian speaking. Some more friendly than others. Horrible coffee tho. Never again!

Fratelli Fresh is Sydney's leading providore, specialising in fresh produce and serving up authentic Italian fine food. Our menu heroes the very best of Italian cooking, where simplicity meets robust flavours and fresh produce. The flavours are simple and big, the portions generous, and the menu is extensive with a mixture of savoury dishes and pasta options.
