I loved Bistro Papillon and would go back in a heartbeat, preferably with my significant other. I ate only one course and chose the casoulet which was crispy -skinned, tender slow-cooked duck in delicious beans. I loved every mouthful. The green salad I ordered as...More

This cozy little eatery is a rare find! The French food is fine dining and the service very attentive and friendly! It is hidden away from the main drag of restaurants and eateries but the bistro is very cozy and right for a nice quiet...More

So good to return to this delightful bistro. Cozy yet bustling - lovely atmosphere. Friendly attentive service. My wife loved her salad nicoise, light but wonderfully flavoursome. My french onion soup was simply delicious, rich without being overwhelming. My wife's mixed seafood was fabulous, and...More

I keep coming back here and for good reason. This is the best French food, and dining experience I have experienced in Australia. A small intimate venue with fantastic service and exquisite food and wines.

Managed to squeeze in before a big table (booked that afternoon). I was with a colleague and I wondered why the chairs faced toward the back of the restaurant when most face the street/outside. But the atmosphere explained it - the bistro feel was best...More

Great little restaurant on Clarence St that is easy to miss. I couldn't resist indulging in French Onion soup followed by Steak Frites and wasn't disappointed. Service was great with a French accent. And a nice drop of Beaujolais.

Many restaurants advertise restricted sitting and this is acceptable when things run smoothly. When the restaurant can't cope with an adjacent large table (approx 12), delay your meal (2 people) to the point that dessert is served past two hours, then demand you finish your...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
