This is the second time we have eaten here. It was just as wonderful this time as our first visit. The menu, while not extensive, offers a great variety of food choices that are truly delicious . The wait staff are friendly and obliging. It's very easy to let your mind think that you are in France. The space is... More

Have been here a number of times now, the latest for my sons birthday. Food is very authentic and tasty, everything ordered excellent, coq au vin, steak, a ravioli- good wine list but a little lumpy, sons less than impressed by the restricted beer list. The profiteroles are probably worth a visit alone. Food staff, all French . If any... More

Visited with friend while we were on holiday from nz. Had chicken friasse with porcine mushroom wine and cream sauce, followed by creme Brule. Nothing could be faulted. Staff amazing. So attentive and pleasant. Will be back next time in Sydney! One of best meals out ever

My wife and I enjoyed a very fine dinner here on 16 August and were impressed by the friendly service, family restaurant atmosphere and value. Food quality and presentation was excellent, and we found the main meal a little too generous even though we only shared an entre. Cosy, but could be a bit noisy. Definitely on our list for... More

First time we tried this restaurant and we were more than impressed! Their steak tartare is outstanding and the best we ever had even compared with those we had in Canberra, Bruxelles and Paris! The cassoulet is a must! Many other places skimp on the meat and just put lots of beans, but this was not the case here (lots... More

My wife and I ate dinner here one night while in Sydney. It was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, very fresh and the service was excellent. You walk in and feel like you were transported to Paris - the staff were even French. The menu had a great selection of dishes - something for everyone. We started with the... More

We walked into a small room and were immediately transported to France. The atmosphere and service were superb . The food was classic French with a little surprise in the plats du jour; a delightful quail dish and a raspberry sorbet in a meringue tower. The wine list included good French varieties. Bookings essential.

Just for a little while I was back in France, probably the South, with beautiful authentic French cooking. Wonderfully fresh ingredients prepared with love. We were a party of 3 the service was friendly and French, the atmosphere and decor very French. The food was perfect. My tagliatelle Le mur was excellent. The creme brûlée was perfect. I wish I... We dined at Papillon with friends on a bust Saturday evening. The restaurant was full, fortunately, we had booked. From Bonsoir to Au revoir the service was top shelf. The staff where all French ex-pats and their beautiful accents just added to the experience. The food (let’s face it that why we were there) was absolutely fantastic, the baguette was... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
