Meat was overcooked, even when ordered as medium rare (wanted rare but their aged meat can't be served rare for some reason). Little on menu for gluten-free eating and wait staff knew little about it. Generally okay but it lacked anything special.

We had a great family meal there. The food was beautiful and the service was great. It was booked out so we had to sit outside but it was still a great night.

Food wasn't too bad here, we all had different burgers. Service was slow in getting food and drinks out. I enjoyed the mocktail i ordered from the menu it was delicious and fresh.

We thought we'd try again after our last experience was just average. Sorry, but this time it was worse. The service was poor and the meal very ordinary. The steak was fatty and the fries/chips soggy and unappetising. The sad thing is the staff need additional training in customer service. We ordered one drink and we had trouble getting more.... Boyfriend ordered the $47 ribs, they came out swimming in BBQ sauce and as tough as an old boot. My children mushroom & fetta dish was disgusting! Chicken was bland, tiny sprinkles of fetta, mash potatoes were grey & lumpy. I asked for cheese sauce for vegetables and it came out with huge solidified chunks of cheese sauce. We complained... My Partner and I decided to go here for Sunday lunch as our favorite sushi train was closed that day. We had been a few times in the past and it seemed to be ok on those occasions. This time was different, the entree was just horrible and all we could taste was salty crap, we got mains, I had ordered... After scouring Coffs Harbour by driving around we decided to settle on an old favourite in other towns of Hogs Breath. Ugh. The restaurant was near empty, should have been first clue. Husband ordered ribs and I had my fave of tex mex combo. When the food came you could tell by looking at it that it wasnt good. The... More

Met up with a couple of families here for dinner. Traditionally Hogs Breath cafes are slow in bringing the meals to the table, and this one was no different. Not all that busy so I don't understand why. The service that we did get was friendly and with a smile. However the food was great, steaks cooked just how it... More

I have eaten at a few Hogs Breath Cafes including this one in the past. As I was in the area, I took a friend of mine who had never eaten at a Hogs Breath. We went there on a Monday night. They had run out of the 18 hour slow cooked steak, no mashed potato or roast potatoes. The... More
