Fabulous restaurant with delicious food

We had a fantastic evening at this gorgeous quaint restaurant next door to the park hotel. We had a fabulous red wine which was served by the owner and a great price for the quality. Starters we had two chicken salads and a mushroom soup - good size and the soup was one of the best I’ve ever had. Followed by sword fish grilled to perfection caught that morning, and Montenegro steaks both cooked spot on - I would highly recommend if you are staying at the park hotel - it was worth every penny to feel like we were having a good meal in a great restaurant overlooking the bay. Thank again for a fabulous evening

Lovely restaurant with great service

We visited here as a group of 4 friends on a recent holiday as we were staying in the hotel next door and had seen good reviews online. The setting is beautiful with amazing views of the bay. The menu has lots to choose from and our waiter was a great help when we asked for recommendations. The food was delicious, fresh and great portions, seafood in particular was great. We enjoyed it so much we went back another night despite our hotel being all inclusive. Our waiter Jaco was brilliant, friendly and attentive always making sure we were happy and reserved great tables for us both nights. All in all would highly recommend for a lovely meal out.

We stayed at Bijela for 12 days, of which we ate in Bura 5, the service is extremely good and I can not rate the food highly enough. The chef there is mixing Mediterranean and Japanese flavors, and the result is insanely good. For example an octopus carpaccio with a slash of wasabi and ginger on the side. Prices are affordable, the view is fantastic. I also recommend trying their wines and spirits like dunjevača or kasia.

Tourist trap, avoid

Very disappointed with the food there. Ordered a seafood platter for two people, portion size small would be perfect for one person. Most of all, the chef can't get the risotto right, it was extremely salty and the clam in it wasn't fresh at all. Asked the waiter for a reason, the waiter came back later saying if other things on the plate is okay they would just replace the risotto which is fine by us (no reason given for the saltiness). It came back about 20mins later when we had already finished our meal meanwhile, the risotto tasted fine this time but without a single clam in it like the old salty one. Extremely disappointed, would advise others to avoid this place, overpriced for what it is.

Lovely!

This is a lovely, relaxing restaurant that was minutes away from our hotel. All of the staff were friendly and the service was great. The wine was very nice and reasonably priced, the food was good, just above average. I had the caprese salad which was good and presented well, but the risotto I had chosen based on other reviews was average - I am not sure risotto rice was used, and the shrimps were sadly not deveined. More flavour could’ve improved this dish too. My partner had the tuna and as it was served only just seared, he asked for it to be cooked a bit more which took us a while to have the staff understand. Once it was cooked a bit longer, it was tasty so no qualms there - more personal preference. The fish of the day looked very fresh, and they will debone and portion this for you at your table. The cocktail list could be a bit wider in variety, but again they were reesonably priced at around €7/8 per cocktail. Great bonus that they take card as a lot of places in the same area do not. We would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area, and we would definitely return.

A complete gem of a restaurant. Wonderful staff and great food

The atmosphere, the well trained and experienced staff and the menu, All a complete joy along with a delicious selection of local wines. The setting is absolutely ideal. We took our children for an early sitting but it's a lovely romantic setting that my husband and I enjoyed the evening immensly. I am also delighted that they don't offer a tacky children's menu. The childrem just need to eat what we eat or chose something healthy and simple although I must admit the french fries were delicious with a big fat greek salad. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We are going to sneak back before the end of the holiday.

Thoughtful and excellent service

Tonight was the last night of their season. The staff were polite, attentive and their service didn't faulter. Excellent recommendations and the food was spot on. Ordered Montenegro Steak, melt in the mouth sirloin cooked perfectly at medium as requested. Family run and cooked with love.

Best part of our holiday...apart from the mountains!

Tonight we had a lovely experience here - attentive service, beautifully presented and tasty food and a lovely environment. This was the next food we had in the area and as a vegetarian I ate the tofu salad as a main and loved it. My partner had the black seafood linguine and loved it - he would have liked a slightly larger portion size, but, overall, we loved it. We have been staying in a local hotel and struggled with the cuisine; tonight we said no more and I am so glad we did. Waiters were brilliant. Can't praise it highly enough. Thank you for a lovely last night. X

Exquisite!

This restaurant is AMAZING! Myself and my partner had a beautiful time there. The staff were very informative, smiley and caring. They were great with recommendations, and the service was top quality. We had a sharing starter, my partner had a steak and I had a black seafood tagliatelle and we both had dessert. We are regular steak eaters, and my partner even went as so far as to say it was the best steak he has ever had! The views are stunning, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff members! The pasta was homemade and you could tell from the taste and texture - divine! I would definitely go back again, and we may sneak another visit in before we return home! Excellent views.

Amazing, cannot rate highly enough

We were staying locally at an all inclusive hotel nearby, and after getting fed up of the ‘samey’ food we ventured out. Glad we did as the service & food here are amazing! Over many visits we tried their homemade pasta, risotto, bruschetta, scallops, sea bream. Their appetiser of bread with olive tapenade is to die for. But their steaks are amazing! Porterhouse & rib eye were cooked to perfection. Followed by chocolate melt in the middle dessert. All the waiters are friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. The setting of this restaurant is lovely too with fab views. Thoroughly recommend this place!

Delicious food and excellent staff

We usually come here to eat during summer months. Every time we eat here the food is absolutely delicious and excellent. We have tried many dishes and all of them are absolutely fantastic. The best restaurant in Bijela. All staff are very helpful and always greet their customers with a smile. Highly recommended restorant in Bijela.
