***Avoid Their restaurant *** Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life ,Not only they have the rudest and aggressive waiters but also their manager is worse. Lowest service with highest prices We had drinks and dessert there one night and they got our...order by mistake and we asked them to cancel the wrong items, they said they can’t cancel and refused to take that off our bill and at the end they didn’t serve those items to us, they treated us poorly with a very bad attitude and when we asked for their manager, he was even worse Please don’t ruin your night going thereMore

Setting was beautiful, right on the edge of the bay and a great table. Excellent service - our waiter was very professional and recommended a great bottle of wine and served the fish excellently. The food was very good - one of the best salt...baked fish we have had and the BEST ever cake (pineapple cherry and almond), I will remember that for a long time! Perhaps slightly over priced for the food, but paying for a luxury setting right on the water’s edge.More

This restaurant is lunch only. We shared the buratta salad, the prosciutto wrapped melon and both had the tuna tartare. All were excellent. The tartare had black olives mixed in which is a nice idea, but we thought the amount of olives overwhelmed the tuna....First place here we've had the classic combination of melon with the outstanding Montenegrin prosciutto, and it's a must have. A modest glass of OK rose wine cost 10 Euro, and the whole lunch price equaled the price of some wonderful dinners we have had in Kotor (2 apps, 2 mains and a bottle of wine), so this is not an inexpensive lunch. Very nice view of the bay.More

i must say this review is not an easy one, as i got two dinners at the restaurant the experiences were very different. at first we got a great evening, a good table and a very nice dinner, what i would rate as 4*. the...second dinner was a completely different story, starting from the table which was completely out of standards for this category of hotel, the main dishes were not as good at the other evening and the service was not the same as well. as for the review i will rate for the second dinner as whoever books a restaurant in a 5* hotel should not have the experience i got it.More

We were staying at the Forza Mare Hotel and when we arrived, we had lunch at the Forza Mare restaurant. Our waiter, Ivan, was extremely professional and welcoming. We had a light lunch of grilled octopus, a Greek salad and local white wine from Montenegro....During our 5 day stay at the Forza Mare Hotel, we had lunch in the restaurant twice and dinner once. The dinner was a spectacular feast of seabream (white fish), trout, grilled vegetables, swiss chard and potatoes. The wait staff (Ivan, Nikoli, Iman and Drago) are great and enhance the overall dining experienceMore

There were wonderful s views from the outside dock on the water. We were sold the five course tasting menu for €70 pp. Some of the dishes, such as the tuna carpaccio were very good. Surprisingly, the sea bass dish was a miss. The scallop...with black truffle tasted good, but from a texture perspective, I wish they had not put a crust on the scallop. All dishes were small except for the fig cake dessert which as massive. Service was good. A 10% service charge was added to the bill. Restaurant gets a 5 for setting, 4.5 for service and a 3.5 for foodMore

So....stayed at the sister hotel, which had nice food, good staff, fair pricing...they advised the Forza Mare is FANTASTIC..."just awaiting its Michelin Star" NO WAY. The food was average...an old chef started the menu, and is no longer there...the wine...fantastic regional wines....paper napkins, paper place...mats....and WAY OVERPRICED...$350 euro for 2ppl on a 5 course prix fixe with wine.....NO WAY...worth half of that....maybe....SCAM...stay away.More

We ate here on our last night in Kotor. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the service was great. I agree with other reviews that it’s a bit on the expensive side but it’s worth it for the quality of food that was served. They...added a 10% service charge to the bill so don’t get caught out! We had the rack of lamb, which was cooked to perfection and the red & black seafood risotto which was recommended by the waiter which I really enjoyed. Fantastic view across the bay as well.More

The drive over from Kotor to Dubrovnik is about 2 hours long, depending on the traffic scene at the border - aka you’re going to want to eat at some point. We chose to eat sooner rather than later so we stopped in about 15...minutes from Kotor at a beautiful waterfront hotel restaurant. Views aside, we had some amazing seafood, most notably, the most delicious scallops I’ve ever had anywhere around the world - these crack scallops were black truffle crusted with an apple purée. The service was also top notch and we loved speaking with our waiter!More

I wasn't feeling quite ok that evening, and then Forza Mare happened. Later on, while I was thinking of my experience, I couldn't tell was I blown away by the taste, the arrangement, the surrounding or the overall warmth that exists between the people there!

Interesting some of the reviews on here and agree with the sentiment that this place is not cheap ! I get the fact that it is on the water edge but then so are many other restaurants but this place appears to be disproportionately more...expensive to the majority of the others serving the same food. Presumably because it is part of a hotel. That said, we ordered three appetisers and two mains - the food was of good quality and we were given a chefs taster and free drink after our meal. All round, a good spot, great location and good ice cream too !More

They only cared about getting a lot of money from us. Food was not good and prize for it was really high. We almost didnt get to choose what we wanted because they just wanted to sell the most expensive food they had on the...menu. The hotel might be good, but go somewhere else to dine.More

We stayed at Huma Hotel nearby and choosed to have dinner at this Luxury boutique hotel restaurant. The food was amazing and super fresh although a bit pricey. The view of Kotor Bay is outstandng and probably one of the most romantic spots i have...ever seen for an intimate dinner. A special mention for Mudre the Maitre d'Hotel who was very kind and professionnal. Strongly recommend it for dinner with a reservation in advance as there is a very limited number of tables.More
