Popped in with the wife after doing a bit of shopping. Menu looked good but there was a few items sold out. Made out choice got a drink and sat down and waited and waited and waited food finally arrived but we didn't have long to eat it as we had to get the kids from school. We'll try again... More

This was my first visit here and will be my last.. I ordered the roast dinner, what arrived was an over cooked mess with two slices of grey coloured, inedible beef that had either been microwaved or sat boiling in water for hours.. I just couldn't eat it and when I told the lady who was either landlady or managing... More

Would recommend. We both had roast beef on a Sunday and although they had a previous large booking, we were well accommodated.

This place is absolutely vile. Filthy, old, crumpled walls, miserable old woman, dirty tables and chairs. Dirty cutlery, plates. Worst was the toilets. There was poo on the toilet basin and the walls!! I was horrified, advertised very well!! Would be nice if they sold anything what was blooming advertised! Put it this way it's not what you expect when... More

We ate here as we were enticed in by the homemade food offered and the great selection of veggie pies. The lady owner was polite enough but a little impatient with ordering though we were the only ones in at midday on a Sunday. While ordering pies we were offered the 'pot luck' offer, were essentially the chef cooked you... More

Never one for writing reviews, but after paying £11.50 for what was essentially a jam sandwich (Brie and cranberry baguette) I felt the need to warn you. The staff weren't exactly a bundle of joy either.

Me and my partner were looking for some food on Saturday and this place looked nice from what the boards said outside, liquor coffees etc.. it advertised Sunday lunch served all day, when we got inside we was greeted by an old miserable woman who found it really hard to smile at us, she showed us over to a dirty... Visited yesterday what a mistake! Apparently the chef has passed away recently and boy does it show! Absolutely shocking so called 'home made' Chicken pie was tasteless hardly any filling and very bland...This is their speciality!! Beer £4.50 a pint....why? The lady serving wasn't exactly a bundle of fun either no wonder the place was completely empty on a Saturday!!!.... More

A great location for a great Sunday Dinner. A very peaceful outdoor area provides an ideal locaton for the best Sunday Dinner I’ve had for a long time. The charming lady serving us was only added to the picturesque setting.

Many thanks for the excellent service and LARGE Sunday roast beef. The restaurant is situated in a very quiet place with plenty of seating outside. We decided to sit outside as it was a very sunny spring afternoon. I will recommend visiting to friend's and family. We will definitely visit again. 😋😆💗👍
