We have been going to Rinuccio 1180 every summer for many years. The winery alone is worth a visit, the setting is magnificent and the food at the restaurant is excellent. The staff are also brilliant, friendly and professional. Naturally there is a superb selection...of wines. Also visit the family museum and wine shop in the building. The whole place is spectacular. Having said that, all the Antinori restaurants are wonderful!! Book well ahead of time.More

We had heard about this place and decided to dine there for lunch on our drive from San Gimignano to Florence to drop off our car. What a wonderful find. This place is a hotel, winery and restaurant. The experience was fantastic. I strongly recommend...booking a reservation. When you arrive, the place is a little overwhelming. As we approached there were several parking lots...that is where you park unless you are staying at the hotel. There was a shuttle to get us to the Hotel/Restaurant/Winery. When we approached the property, our first thought was WOW. It is the most impressive facility like this we have ever seen. The shuttle driver instructs you how to get to the restaurant. I had a knee injury so a staff member took us to elevators that got us to the restaurant. We dined at the outside terrace restaurant ....Rinuccio 1180. We were seated promptly and our drink order was taken. The server then answered our questions about the entre selections. When we dined the temperature was very comfortable and there were fans along the perimeter to help with cooling. Our entire dining experience was very enjoyable.More

Amazing experience. Lives up to expectations. We didn’t have time for a tour but Claudio (our waiter) took up down to see the the cellar. A must do if in Chianti. Thanks again Claudio.

We came at Antinori in 2019 and had one of the best experiences at the winery restaurant, today we came back and it was completely the opposite, the food was at most acceptable, and service took ages and the wines are now more expensive than...a regular restaurant. By the time we dos recommend to come here, but now a days, avoid it, the region has to many good places to eat.More

The great restaurant at Antinori Vineyard and it's a must stop at the visit of the Chianti route! Pricy, but totally worth it! Try the tiramisù!

The whole lunch was a surprising experience since the quality of the food to the hospitality and empathy of the staff. Claudio, our waiter was very attentive, even show us the winery and barrel room after the lunch. For wine or food lovers is a...must do when in Florence. It's a 30 min car drive from the city center but is worth it.More

We called the restaurant to make a reservation for 6 persons. The attendant advice us that was not necessary to make a reservation because they accept walk-ins without problems. When we came to the restaurant, the restaurant was empty and the hostess didn’t accept our...group to have lunch, because it was fully booked. Conclusion: we wasted our time coming there. Be aware of this kind of guest service.More

This place is just lovely! My husband and I came here on a whim - on a Saturday when the winery first opened at 10am or 10:30am. No reservations, however my husband went immediately up to the restaurant and asked if they would be able...to fit in our party of 2 anywhere and they said yes! Time flew by exploring the vineyards, checking out the wine shop for tastings and purchases, watching the video in the waiting area downstairs, and of course the wonderfully thought out architecture. Upon arrival for our lunch check-in, they remembered my husband by name and immediately welcomed and sat us down under a nice umbrella facing out towards the mountains and overlooking the circle mini gardens and vineyard up there. We were greeted by Claudio who was immediately a friendly, fun loving spirit and seemed to very much take care of us the entire time aside from the person whom took our food order. Service was amazing and I am so glad to have our experience and meal before everyone else began arriving and the place got very packed with people. Our meal was amazing! We had the gnocchi, the squid pasta tagliatelle, and lamb. Claudio ensured our glasses were never empty whether by wine or water. My husband really enjoyed a special white wine they just brought in from Chile. It had a lovely garden smell to it with some zing for sure, however it was refreshing chilled! Memorable and different for sure! We then opted for a lemon basil slice cake that my husband and I shared. They then served us espresso with some mint melt candies and almost a chocolate biscuit type of pastry. I’m not sure what everyone else’s experiences were, however coming from Hawai’i where hospitality is top notch, this crew has it all together. We felt very tended to and definitely intend to visit again. Thank you, especially Claudio - aloha!More

The manager, Luca is the best you can ask for in a business. I would hire him on the spot. He is smart, caring and helpful. We loved the food and more than that, loved the service. Our sommelier, Caludio was amazing too! Explained everything...even though we had wine tasting right after! Highly recommended.More

We booked one week in advance and was lucky to get a seat. Parked at the parking lot across the lot and took the bus to the building. What a beautiful architecture! We ordered the pasta with wild boar (ragu), gnocci and grilled chicken -...all were very good especially the latter dish. The wine was exquisite with a wonderful view of the vineyard. Service was impeccable - highly recommended!More

Wow! We have highly anticipated our lunch at Rinuccio on our honeymoon to Italy. My husband lives red and I, white wine. Claudio the sommelier and waiter exceeded our standards. The service was incredible and we never had a glass empty. We started with a...crisp dry white wine, purchased a bottle of Solaia, and enjoyed teh very sweet but delicious dessert wine. Claudio's knowledge of the wine was exhilarating and eye opening. He taught us not only the how to's but the why's. We learned so much! The food was mouth watering we shared la Donzelle, zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta cheese. Everything was beyond excellent. We moved on to pasta, sharing the duck ragout and eggplant ravioli. The wine was constantly flowing and well attended. We enjoyed the stay and the staff. THANK YOU Claudio!More

One word:heavenly!!! Not only is Tignanello one of the most Iconic Supertuscans, this winery is one of the most modern and welcoming I ever visited. The restaurant Rinuccio 1180 is overlooking the vines and the valley. The food is affordable and good quality. And people,...if you’re here, have a Tignanello with it. This is your chance. Tip: come early and get to choose your table. We got the 1st line table right at the vineyard. Looked like a postcard. Instagram socialites would go mental. Ask for Claudio, the tattood waiter, he’s very knowledgeable and just the friendliest guy ever. I absolutely loved my visit here and trust me I have been around…More
