Fantastic

Our favorite place for a special meal in Anguilla. This is our second time to experience Hibernia. This vacation it was just as wonderful as it was previously. 30 minutes away from our hotel. Was looking forward to this tiny restaurant within an art gallery but some of the food was not to our liking. Tuna appetizers were a bit funky. We were told the bread was a wholewheat italian bread but it was so hard we couldn't even bite into it.

It is a worthwhile trek to the east end of Anguilla to dine in the uniqueness of HIbernia. Mary Pat, a bit reserved, does warm up when engaged. The art display coupled with excellent food is an experience not to be missed. The smoked fish platter and fish soup started our meal. We each had fish cooked to perfection. The... More

Hibernia combines a stunning, imaginative place, divine food, and a shop filled with splendid artifacts, which you can purchase. Our friends, who have been on Anguilla for 30 years, call it their favorite restaurant of all restaurants. Mary Pat, the wife of the chef, is a delightful person! I really cannot rave enough about this restaurant. I just wish we... More

Every time my husband and I come to Anguilla we go to Hibernia. Adore their art gallery. Even bought few pieces there and still very happy with purchase. Food is very interesting: combination of flavors is amazing. Excellent wine list. Beautiful romantic setting. Highly recommend if you are in Anguilla. Tea selection is very unusual.

Our group was picked up by the taxi service prior to our meal. This is a nice service to offer (although you do pay for it), particularly b/c taxis can be difficult to find on Anguilla. Upon arrival, we were IMMEDIATELY asked what we wanted to eat. We had not yet ordered drinks, and none of us had even looked... More

The most upscale & unique atmosphere of anywhere we dined on Island. Hard to find in the dark as I believe we decided google maps was incorrect, it ended up being further east. Highlight was the Tuna 3 ways and sesame crusted mahi. We brought our young kids the first time when dining earlier but glad we didn't this time.... More

We bought some quirky art in their gallery. The room is an eclectic mix of eastern and open air beach styles. the menu is ambitious, the table settings ornate and a bit precious. the serving staff are attempting a fine dining style of service they are ill equipped to deliver. bellowing each plate and asking who's it is became tiresome... Last night we had the pleasure of dining at Hibernia. Visually stunning - zen like and so comfortable...every piece of furniture, art, and landscaping appears to have been scrutinized so as to be in the perfect location! Service gracious and smooth, food dreamy. We started with their smoked fish plate (omg!) I had the crayfish casserole - I just luv... More

The food was great. I enjoyed steak from new Zeland that was amazing. If it weren't for the distasteful service i would go back, The owner was not friendly or a warm person. It is the service industry.
