This is a nice little restaurant where the service is good and the quality of the food is consistent. We stayed in the hotel here and so tasted a variety of dishes. The guacamole is the best in the area. The antojitos are good as are the meals. Fresh, thick slices of bread are served with your meals. The club... More

We ate breakfast here because we were staying 2 nights in the hotel. First impressions?...expensive and nothing special. The waiters were not on their game. My husband had to ask for milk for the coffee 3 times. They brought two kinds of jam and butter but never brought the bread. In the end there was a significant entry added to... More

The service at this place sparkles. The crew seems all to be have trained at a local school preparing people for the tourist industry. You can eat indoors and have air conditioning or outdoors and under the trees in the hotel court yard. There are a lot of good places to eat nearby and their menus are more extensive but... More

OK, but not great. I tried one of their specialty dishes the Pollo Bambu, which is a chicken in a ginger white sauce. Good, but the chicken was a bit duro (tough), but the thick white sauce and a knife solved that. The decor and presentation of the restaurant are "basic hotel". I have seen it reported that the Margarita's... More

we stayed at the Maya hotel, and arriving quite late from villa hermosa we decided to have dinner at this hotel restaurant. the food was below average, not bad but it does not suit a 4 star hotel, not tasty, and luckily portions were small, unlike the bill. skip it there are enough choices in palenque, even in the close neighborhood,... Most of our group was happy with our four meals in the hotel restaurant... however, I was disappointed with a menu item of an "American-cut Rib-eye steak". There were Mexican cuts on the menu as well so when I ordered an American cut, I unfortunately did not specify on how I wanted it cooked other than medium rare. It looked... More

When we were staying at the Hotel Maya Tulipanes in November 2013, this was one of the top rated restaurants in Palenque. We always had good service and it has all the Mexican classics you would be looking for, made with quality ingredients. It also has a great selection of American-type food if you are travelling with kids or non-adventurous... More

We stayed at the Hotel Maya Tulipanes from 15 to 19 February 2014 with two other couples. Initially we chose the Bambu because of it’s convience - we kept coming back because of the quality, selection and service. We ate breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks here over this period......although the T/A format forces me to only chose one category.... In... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. It's a tourist establishment, located in a hotel, but they do some of the best margaritas we had in Mexico, and the service is attentive and kind. The food is also very good: simply Mexican classics, all done with good ingredients. Not too adventurous, but to be recommended! We went twice.
