A very well serve and good food we had. The steak and Guinness pie is Devine and the chicken korma was fabulous. The atmosphere is nice and very welcome. A good value for money.

The first round of drinks took 45minutes to arrive. The food arrived 15minutes afterwards and the starters were given at the same time as the main course. The music was too loud to speak with the person right next to you. I expect much better...for the price.More

Great Cocktail Happy Hour - if you enjoy cocktails this is the place to go from 15.00 to 19.00 - buy one get one free - every day.As you would expect it gets very busy Saturday and Sunday. Many of the cocktails look and taste...like a dessert - they will not disappoint. Worth the trip to Smart City.More

Having been to the area previously for a staff party, and being not too far from the office, another night out was organized for a farewell party. On this occasion we decided on The Londoner, which I'd noticed on our previous visit to Smart City....Anyway, we turned up and had a table in the annex(?) area opposite the pub entrance. Decor and setup more lounge than pub (in a good way!). Also big screen so you can watch whatever's being broadcast. When we arrived, Happy Hour was in effect (can't argue with that), so cocktails it was. The average cocktail was about €7, so worked out at €3.50. Back in Ireland, a basic G&T would set you back at least €6! One of our group was drinking beer and, apart from the beer on tap, they seemed to have a decent selection of bottled brews. The Barman and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and efficient, and the service was faultless. We ordered various dishes from the menu, with me going for (predictably) a burger). Finally had a burger that didn't give me anything to really complain about. It was cooked just under medium, and was a pretty decent size. It was topped with fried cheese and crispy bacon, very nice thanks! It came with a big portion of fries and a small side of coleslaw. A few others also went for a burger, whilst others had Fisn n' Chips. I don't remember anyone having any complaints. Following the meal, a few of us appropriated one of the sofa areas for drinks and a chat. By now Happy Hour was over (until 19.00, I think), so we reverted to "normal" drinking. Again, couldn't complain with the prices. A round of 2 JD/coke and 2 Bombay G&T came to €11. All in all a very nice evening. Finally left at around 01.00, and more than a little drunk, but very content. Can recommend for a decent night out, whether you want just drinks, or food as well. I imagine it would be even better during summer, due to its location right by the sea. In the words of Arnie....."I'll be back"!More

We visit this place on average every quarter. Food is always great. The pub feel with large TVs all around creates the expected vibe. The Restaurant has an amazing sea view and is just on top of the most amazing fountain on the island which...dances to the music (unless too windy). The place is also very well covered with waiting staff constantly roaming but discrete. You do not need to do a scavenger hunt or wave your hand until your shoulder dislodges :) to get the attention of staff, as it happens in so many restaurants and stores now a-days. This times round we had fish and Chips (large, tasty and cooked perfectly), Westy Burger (not sure I got spelling right). Great burger with a unique sweet and salty taste which includes a hint of peanut butter and bacon strips. It is probably a new addition to the menu as it does not feature on the online Menu. And a full rack of spare ribs. It was good but it was not the best ribs we ever had. As for drinks we had 2 Coke and a Kinnie (traditional Maltese soft drink). The problem with the drinks. They were not carbonated at all. These soft drink fountains at restaurants and bars today hardly ever get the balance right. We were not going to raise this. My son and I would still drink it, but my wife would not. The Manager passed by and asked if all was fine. We pointed out that the drinks were not carbonated. He apologised, took all drinks, even though my son and I had drank more than have the pint ordered, and replaced them with proper carbonated drinks. He also ensured to pass by again a little later to check on us. No is perfect, but admitting a mistake and resolving it says a lot.More

The place looks amazing, has a nice atmosphere and it's easy to find parking. Service was ok and burgers are decent. It's not worth going for happy hour though since the cocktails are only nice if you'd like something to photograph or wish for a...different taste to your usual soft drink - the alcohol was almost non-existent even in the supposedly strongest cocktails.More

Took my son for a treat yesterday. He ordered cod goujons as a starter. Portion was huge, goujons delicious, though they were lacking a bit in seasoning. As a main course beef tagliata was cooked to perfection. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant manager...so welcoming. Well done and keep up the good work!More

I went to Londoner on a Saturday evening and there was a live deejay playing which amused everyone. Food portions are big and fresh, cocktails were fantastic and all the items are fairly priced. I suggest everyone to book in advance as the place was...packed. Looking forward to go again! Thumbs upMore
