Just dont get it. Nothing to see or explore. Restaurant was closed. A tent on site was selling draft beer in plastic cup at a premium price. This place needs rebranding, and a focus on customer experience. I wouldnt bother going there.
Part of my birthday 🎂 present was Gala evening at the new function room at the brewery. We went to explore in the morning. At eleven o'clock we sample the refreshing tap beer. In the evening it was a Gala event with meal, drinks and...entertainment. The meal was buffet consisti of 4 starters, 3 main dishes and 4 part desert. All excellent. Entertainment with Irish music was followed by Beatles revival band of high quality. It seems the Brewery puts on this type of events every Saturday, and can't recommend it high enough. If not the show, then the nature trail is worth going on.More
What can I say. The food was excellent and the beer great. We tried the local “snaps” and it was delicious! The brewery is located in a very beautiful area where you can take a walk in the most awesome nature. My only complaint- the...waiters could have been more friendly.More
Something a bit different for us on this visit to Denmark, a trip to one of the many small islands that make up the country of Denmark. Well worth the trip, a lovely setting at this brewery and an impressive range of craft beers and...snaps. The food was delicious, and the staff very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.More
When in central or north Jylland you should take the opportunity to visit the little island of Fur!
You'll take a 5-10 minute ferry ride across to the island, and from there you can take 15 minutes visiting the two or three small shops before...driving to the west side of the island where you'll find the Fur Brewhouse. It's a microbrewery that offers up to 6 different beers and an expanded menu of delicious snacks, appetizers and full dinner selections.
After a brew or two and some tasty snacks take a walk through the woods to the beach where you can find interesting shells or even an occasional fossilized sea urchin. The trail winds along for a few kilometers enforce looping back to the Brewhouse (or you can go further along the coast if you're so inclined).
On the north side of the island are interesting cliffs where unique sedimentary layers can be seen - sometimes revealing remnants of sea creatures and plants trapped long ago.
Fur Brewhouse and the island itself are a couple of our go-to places!More
Nice place to stop by for a local beer on a tour of the island. Hard to decide which one to choose though. We bought a couple of sample packages to take home as gift. Then saw that the same ones were cheaper in the...local grocery stores.More
