It was winter time and mid week, so the bar was friendly and local and most nights I was the only meal customer, yet the hotel put on a great feed for me each night.

This is everything you'd hope for when visiting a pub in Cornwall. A lovely warm welcome accompanied by a lovely warm firm on a winters evening. The food is amazing too and as for the saffron bread and butter pudding - you have to try it, absolutely delicious. A fantastic place with the perfect atmosphere.

This an oldie worldy pub in a very small village in a very sparsely populated area of Cornwall. The pub is very cosy and inviting and the staff welcoming and very friendly. The menu is not extensive but that was ok. The food which was obviously home cooked to order was incredible. I ordered the Trio of Cornish fish which... More
