To say I enjoyed the BBQ buffet would be a gross understatement. Clearly a highlight of the week at Cambridge Beaches, I made my dinner reservation rather late in the day, and was "relegated" to a quiet room overlooking the darkening harbour. I was ready...to hug someone, I was so happy not to be seated in the boisterous main dining room! I always look forward to a "BBQ Buffet" at a resort, as an opportunity to sample local fare. I was not expecting to be blown away by the pickled beetroot salad (bright and tart), or the biscuit (moist and airy)! Lightly fried fish, deep fried plantain, curried goat, oxtail, and creative maki... everything I hoped for. And it was not simply "ok" - it was fantastic. Which is hard to pull off in a buffet. And the Pastel Swizzle puts a unique spin on a Bermuda classic, with a touch of Lychee to soften the finish.More

Located in the charming Cambridge Resort in the west end, this al fresco restaurant checks many boxes. We were in Hamilton docked at the cruise port and took a taxi This is a wonderful drive in itself. I made reservation about a week in advance...and were seated promptly. Who knew a Avocado, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich could be o good? Pared with some cold white wine, a very satisfactory visit. Service is a lacking but hey your in paradise.More

Magic setting but service seriously lacking. Such a shame. 20 plus minutes to get our bottle of wine as they had to retrieve from the ‘main restaurant’. Bermuda Fish Chowder served without offering the Rum and Sherry Peppers, presented with the wrong bill after the...meal just felt the staff were barely even going through the motions of service.More

I do not think that any sunset location will ever be better than the beach tables at Breezes (on request beach table setting for $50 totally worth!!). Food was good and they had live music which made the setting at sunset totally magic. The only...glitch was that the server was very cold and non personable at all. I also warn that service is added to the bill, we did not know (not could see very well at night lighting is very low on the beach) nor the waiter told us about it (generally it is being disclosed) so we added our own tip. I blame it on us and the poor lighting of course, but it would have been nice to be told about itMore

On the water with the best sunset in Bermuda. You can even have a table on the beach. They have done a great job with this open aired restuarant.

I want to love this place. The setting is azing and the staff is so lovely. The restaurant is part of a resort and right on the beach. (you can ask to sit on the beach of you want). It is considered upscale at night...but the food was just average and was a let down. The chicken was actually awful and everything else was just ok. The drinks and desserts were the exception and wonderful. For the price., I wanted everything to be great. I would rate it a 3 but the location can't be beatMore

The service was excellent and the view is beautiful. The lunch menu has an excellent fish sandwich! The kid's menu is lacking in variety.

We are locals , this restaurant has an amazing view and so convenient for boaters to swim and lunch. Unfortunately we won’t return this summer. No wings , no fries. Food less than average , the shrimp wrap contained no shrimps , the fish sandwich...is fried fish not fresh bermuda wahoo. Service average. Told sold out when asked to add another person and watched from the boat all the empty tables. You can do better Cambridge Beaches for locals and tourists.More

Food is good, but selection is limited. Service is good. They are not kidding when they call the place Breezes - it is very windy here. It is enjoyable to eat at the beach if one doesn't mind the wind.

The hostess at this restaurant was extremely rude. She is we talking to a delivery man for 10 minutes and did not acknowledge us even though we were standing right there. We had a reservation. She said our table would be ready in a few...minutes. We waited over 30 minutes. Another couple arrived. I saw them start clearing an empty table. She pointed in our direction and said something to a server. Then she waved us to come forward. We thought she was talking to us since we had been there the longest. She asked us to leave the table & give it to the other couple. She took us to a rickety table outside with cheap plastic chairs. I was livid. The server who may have been a manager found us a table in the covered section. Guess what, there were plenty available! They gave us a free bottle of wine, which was nice. Also, my husband had put in the notes that it was my birthday. Then They said the wine was for my birthday. But I don’t think they do anything for birthdays. The waiters were extra attentive. The food was good, but I’m never going back. The hostess never apologized or smiled at us or another customer. With all of the amazing restaurants on Bermuda there is no reason to return as far as I’m concernedMore

I went here to see the sunset and enjoy a nice meal with my partner for my birthday. My first impression of the place was destroyed by a miserable hostess at reception. She made no eye contact, didn’t smile and I saw her do this...with other customers too so clearly that is generally how she is but yet I saw her smiling and being playful with colleagues, she should be doing what she can to make the customer feel good not just colleagues. My mood was shot down right from that point and I knew I was going to have a terrible time. I also left a note making clear it was my birthday when I booked and there was not even a nice gesture towards me to wish me a happy birthday, something other restaurants have done in the past. Small gestures and manners don’t cost a thing but leave the customer feeling valued. Since the island really relies on tourism I would have thought you’d have tried harder with service. The rest of the staff serving us were friendly though. The food was pretty dull and in small portions along with dreadful watery cocktails with no effort over presentation. The only real thing this place had going for it was the view. Not worth the money.More

As above cant add anymore. Keran and Lopes and team were really first class. The chef would go out of his way to make a special dish on request. Nothing was too much trouble

Lovely setting, especially at sunset, and that’s what you pay (a lot) for. And I wouldn’t mind paying for it either, but service was very disappointing as they forgot our order and was sat for almost an hour. The food when it eventually came (seafood...plate and red snapper) was well cooked, but far from exceptional and lacking a little seasoning and rice was cold. King prawn starter was delicious though.More

This Restaurant & Beach Bar is easily over shadowed by the more well known restaurants on the Cambridge Beaches compound. Just a brief drive in from the main entrance and a short drive down to the car park, Breezes is a pleasant al fresco dining...experience with fantastic menu options and pleasant wait staff. We got to know this venue really well during our staycation at Cambridge. Sunday afternoon was intriguing for us as we watched the yachts and boaters pull up, order food and beverages and enjoy the beach and ocean at the same time. Breezes is a relaxing hub of activity with genuine Bermuda charm and excellent service. Why take my word for it??? Take time to head West and try it out for yourself!More
