We had the bus drop us at the stop for Woody’s on the way home from Dockyards. A group of locals were there and informed us they are closed on Tuesdays. A few days later we returned and were so glad we did. The food...is simple, fast and fresh. The fish sandwich on raisin bread is fantastic. If you love local eating experiences, don’t miss Woody’s.More

The best location for a taste of a local experience. The food, drinks and atmosphere are great. The fish and shrimps are delicious.

If you're in the west end, this is a place that you will want to stop by. The fish sandwiches are the main draw for most folks and I am no exception - though the menu is extensive enough for others. The sandwiches that I...have had have always been fresh and wonderful. They are not as big as some of the others on the island which is where a star gets dropped as I fee like I need a bit more for it to stack up to the others, but all in all, the quality is definitely there.More

I must agree with other reviewers that the wait for the ordered dishes can be quite long, BUT once served, I would have to say that the wait was well worth it. The dark and stormy cocktails are delicious and inexpensive, and the fish is...some of the best I have ever tasted.More

Nipped in for a quick drink, we got a cocktail and a beer. It is not overly expensive. It has a great atmosphere, lots of locals having great craic. The bus stop is right outside so its an easy stop going to or from Dockyards....Visited afternoon of Feb 14th.More

We arrived at 6 pm, only 2 people in front of us...we heard this place was the freshest for fish sandwiches and unique...then what a nightmare. While we waited for over an hour we finally took it to go and opened up the worst food...we’ve ever had. Fish overcooked with velveta cheese on it. Served on raisin bread. Don’t be fooled even the locals waiting laughed about the poor service and how overrated it is.More

This restaurant has incredible fresh local fish Cooked to perfection. It can get crowded quickly. It’s a small establishment so you have to wait for your food after you have ordered at the window, but worth the wait. They have outside seating. Best to go...during daylight hoursMore

We went to Woody's during our recent stay in Bermuda. If you want to eat at a truly local establishment, this is it! The food selection is somewhat limited, but what they service is good. The beer was cold and the service was very good....We went early, but we have been told that the wait for food gets pretty crazy later on. It's a fun place that we think you will like.More

No, not on the beach, on the side of the main road. It is really the main thing right there, besides a gas station and a bus stop on the way to the Dockyards. I feel like u could see the water on the other side of the road... More
