Great food, beautiful view and nice cosy ambience. The journey to the restaurant was long, with plenty of twists and turns up to the mountain (N.B. map on shown on Trip Advisor is incorrect, this restaurant is nowhere near town). It was definitely worth the trip!

I loved this place!! The waitress did not speak English but was so friendly and smiling I guess I wrinkled my nose at the first glass of wine she poured me. She ran over grabbed a new bottle to be sure I like it ( I did) The cook and owner came to explain the menu They were so friendly... More

Perched on a mountain pass (between Cortina and Selva di Cadore) with astounding views of the Marmolada. Food was outstanding -- pasta with mountain pesto, mezzelune with zucca and gorgonzola, tender lamb chops, and an assortment of great deserts. Service was impeccable and some real knowledge of the wines of the region. Will definitely return.

the restaurant is located in one of the most breathtaking areas around Cortina. The athmosphere is very friendly and the quality of food and drink outstanding. Traditional dishes from the area are interpreted in a nice yet not extravagant way. For instance, traditional casunziei (red beet ravioli) are transformed into one big raviolo with red beet and fresh creamy cheese... More

With so many good restaurants around competition shouldn't be easy, but at least for me, a Chef, is impossible to find better cooking in the area. On one occasion, I remember we drove over 2 hours just to have dinner here. Their food is THAT delicious. If you are around pay them a visit, you will not come out disappointed.

This is by far the best restaurant I have ever attended. First things first, the drive from Cortina is about 30 minutes, which 20 minutes are in the dark and going around the mountain, all full of curves and cliffs. The drive is WORTH IT 100000% You are treated as a 3 star Michellin Restaurant, but quite inexpensive; the service... More

We had a little adventure to get to the restaurant but with the kind help of the owner Gigi we made it. The adventure was definitely worthwhile, the food was excellent from beginning to end, our starters where divine and the desserts where amazing. Thank you for an amazing meal with a beautiful location.

Wonderful restaurant on the Passo Giau road. Beautiful scenario, surrounded by the mountains Nuvolau, Averau... Great food we had two starters and two main plus a dessert. I had poached egg on potatoes cream with mushrooms and black truffle followed by maccheroncini with pesto and stracciatella. My husband had foie gras and a soup. We also had the coffee cup... More

The food is out of this world. The chef is approachable and translated the whole menu to us, explaining each dish. We had the tasting menu and every dish was delicious. The view is amazing, ask for a seat outside even during the winter.

The best meal we had in a week of great dining in the rifugios of the Dolomites. Chef Gigi's degustation menu was exquisite- many herbs and edible wild flowers were sourced in the alpine meadow behind this beautiful retreat. Lovey amuse bouche of some cheese with caviar appeared before we even decided on the menu. The beef with porcini mushrooms... More
