I am from Bialystok and I visited Poland after 5 years of living abroad. My old friends recommended the place for good traditional food. Folwark nadawki serves really good Podlasian food. It was 6 of us. We ordered two sets of food. One with pierogi,...kiszka ziemniaczana (potato sausage), and kartacze. And the other one with kiszka, babka ziemniaczana (potato cake), bigos (cabbage), and golonka (kind of meat). I think I have had the best pierogi ever. All the food was super delicious and very filling. The two big plates were plenty of food for 6 people with a lot of leftovers. You can also serve yourself a free appetizer witch is smalec (traditional spread) with bread and ogorki kiszone (cucumbers in brine) - very very tasty! They also served us with 2 pitchers of podpiwek (traditional drink made on yeast, no alcohol). I have never liked podpiwek in my life but let me tell you that was delicious! I could not stop drinking it. All of that was included in the price. Folwark is secluded, in nature, far from the city noises. It used to be a farm. So the restaurant has a very nice climate. Waiters were also very nice. Please visit this place and you will not regret it. Delicious food, and not pricey. I was surprised how low the bill was (at least when I translate polish currency to US dollars, it seemed very cheap).More
